I think the current PE is also very low as most on this board are working of figures we believe to be true, but for a pi looking at fundamentals of companies to invest in Novacyt's published "and" audited figures for pre covid do not make impressive reading. Once 2020 audited figures are released, assuming they do not alter greatly to the unauditted ones, then Novacyt starts to look very attractive to people who have not been on the Novacyt rollercoaster for the past 6-18 months. 2 weeks to go, then the PE on audited figures should be screaming "BUY" even if Covid revenues are not a forever revenue stream. Novacyt the company, infrastructure, personnel etc has changed dramatically in past 18 months and the post covid company will look and perform very differently to the pre covid one. Just my opinion. DYOR.
B2HS2L It may have become a bit of a reality TV show of late, but for 12/14 of the last 16 months it has been a place for sharing great research and support. That is why I tune in daily. Not for the "he said.." "she said.." drivel that I would tell my Yr7 students to grow up and get over.
Troublesome
I'm to long in the tooth/busy for any of that :). She has a 13 year old car that is starting to cost a lot to maintain and now the neighbours have a very nice summerhouse she is in my ear about keeping up with the Jones. The way house prices are going a little investment there may well be ideal way to diversify :)
Can we please talk about Novacyt, research facts that may impact novacyt etc and not personalities on this f@:@ing board. If I was interested in personalities I'd jet off to Cornwall and get follow some politics (that is all personality over policy now) or watch some rubbish reality tv show.
Could not resist adding of the back of the Innova news. The Risk/reward of investing at these prices was already ridiculous and this tipped me over the edge. Once this rerates to something that resembles standard market rate given fundamentals, I'll be able to get the wife a summer house and a new car (fingers and toes all firmly crossed :)
https://www.bmj.com/content/371/bmj.m4469 The BMJ was reporting they were rubbish back in November. :)
How does Share Price get below the Bid Price? Genuine question. SP has been doing more strange things than normal as we all wait and get bored until the DHSC resolution, official full year results and hopefully a forward looking statement.
Novacyt have released 7 proper RNS's since mid March updating shareholders on developments and countless communications on social media. It winds me up when people bleat on about board not communicating with shareholders. Board responsibility is to develop long term value for shareholders not make money for day traders. Although I am lucky to only have profit invested having got in at 127p I do not have capacity to have a big slush fund so losing thousands of paper profit still hurts like hell and churns my stomach. This share has defied logic for most of the rollercoaster ride of 14 months but I still believe in the fundamentals. When the 2020 figures become official I think it will help immensely and a forward looking statement will certainly help as well. They should arrive next month, just because things are getting uncomfortable it should not change the timetable for reporting. Last years dip from £5 to £2.20 was as mystifying and I cashed out a chunk then and got burned as share rose to £12. Novacyt is scaling up operations and making serious profit every day, 2 fundamentals I am sure off. Yes I would like to have cashed out and enjoyed immediate boost to bank balance but I do not see any reason why Novacyt is not going to be a sizeable business post Covid and how during Covid it is not going to build a huge stockpile of cash. These Golden Tickets are not for selling until Novacyt valued as a mid cap business , £2-3bn market cap, £28-42 a share :)

Simply rephrasing slightly logical scenarios that have been discussed on the board since dispute came to light. I am in the camp that this has been ridiculously oversold, but trying to understand how I could be so badly wrong. What do some with more negative attitudes to the share at the moment project Novacyt fundamentals to be now and over the next 2-3 years. I cannot visualise fundamentals that justify current share price. Needing unemotional help if anyone can supply it.

What do people think is worse case scenario with dispute? Already know this is not blocking Novacyt from ongoing business with NHS/DHSC etc as Novacyt being included in new frameworks.
a) Something is catastrophically wrong with test or machines and DHSC want a refund? Surely this would have made some outlets.
b) The Q machines are not quite the panacea that DHSC thought they would be and do not want as much of them as they first thought so are coming short of the £100m total spend on the contract? (Maybe £30m short of expected windfall?)
c) Over course of contract Novacyt sold some a bit cheaper and DHSC want that rate? (Potentially £30m refund??)
d) Other.....
On basis of this dispute market cap has been devalued £500m or so? What am I missing other than sentiment?
