Benny, darling, is your reference to Brokeback Mountain supposed to be another attempt at a ****phobic slur? Are you really such a sad little dinosaur?
As for the SP on 1st February, I don't think I have any expertise or specialist knowledge to give a reliable estimate. I don't have a huge amount invested so I'll wait and see.
Why do these things so often descend into slinging childish and vaguely ****phobic slurs? I'm sure it must be possible to have discussions about financial matters that don't get so emotional, but I don't see much evidence for that belief.
As regards fusion, it remains 30-50 years away. We have achieved fusion reactions in 'traditional' tokamak reactor where the high temperature plasma is contained in magnetic fields, to keep the hydrogen away from the vessel walls. The recent news from the US National Ignition Facility generated by the heat and pressure by essentially exploding a capsule containing heavy hydrogen isotopes - the pressure wave and heat generated was what initiated the fusion reaction. It was a fantastic achievement but scaling up from what I understand was a one-off 5 second reaction to a long-term, reliable, power generating facility is a long road. It's so far away that it's not worth giving any thought to; it's just interesting for scientists and engineers!
Oh dear, our Benny's a sensitive flower encumbered by all sorts of prejudices and assumptions. Be gentle with him folks, he may develop into a reasonable human being with time and the right support.
Oh Benny, baby, has someone upset you? I respond with what is clearly an attempt at a mildly humorous remark and you get a bit ****y. Feeling a little sensitive are you?
I consider myself a rank amateur when it comes to this investing lark but even I knew that was a dumb thing to post. Look what you did!
Of course there are delays. Have you guys not heard of Hofstadter's law? (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hofstadter%27s_law)
