That is probably the difference in thinking .
And the income could be designated for secondary investment strategy.

If Lloyds announced today all profits would be paid in dividends the S.P. would be in the 60's . Going forwards after X divi ........ Hmmmmm ?
So buybacks stop traders presumably.

I'm not , just curious always happy to learn.
I could be seeing things the wrong way but i spent 28 years not reading chat or other , last couple of years am paying more attention now not at work and the time .

Pension companies and such must have a reason then .
