Some ftse 100 stocks don't pay and haven't payed divi's, so £1k invested is backwards in real terms over and above others.

The Dividend income for each stock is the immediate profit , cash , buy more shares in said stock with the divi more shares free at no cost. More dividends on more shares following .
Less inflation on everything no hiding from that .

I understand wot you say but i fully expect Lloyds to recover when the dust settles, and survive that which a few Banks won't.
I see the British " English" lol Banks outperforming later in the year.

Lloyds is now just an income bond for me, tax free in the ISA , not concerned about the SP .
If Banks go lower i can get more NWG in the ISA come the 6th.
