The real problem is that the Government still own 62.4% of the shares - it has stated that it has no wish to own/run a Bank & have previously sold tranches @ 330p in 2015 & 271p in 2018 therefore it appears to be happy to dispose shares at a significant loss around these levels. Therefore if the sp reaches anywhere near these levels a further Government sale will take place to again suppress the sp for a further significant period. Ross McEwen has gone to sunnier climes & homegrown Alison Rose has not yet made any significant nor material change to the multi levelled expensive management style that RBS has & will probably continue maintain under her leadership.

Why not change daily pedestrian postal deliveries to say every other day or less (unless the remitter pays a suitable premium) - freeing up time for the workforce to concentrate on parcel deliveries & compete with Hermes on price - the infrastruture is already in place with RM depots/Post Offices/Workforce & vans etc.

If I was running the plant with backers etc expecting/monitoring increasing monthly/quarterly production figures & with the price of the commodity being stable/increasing I wouldnt sell all initial production I would be building a stockpile out of sight.

Agree its a cash generative business, I am not sure of the leadership just review the past trading statements & subsequent drop in Price shortly thereafter - the business is good - very good by High Street standards - the managements statements to the market are naive.

Love the Bank - I believe this is the future but hand me £5 per share (below book value) & its yours - I just hope you dont FIU!

Yes the update could have been worded better but Karen & co seem to like to use the word challenging - read the previous trading statements & subsequent falls in SP. I took the opportunity to buy & reduce my average price on this cash generative and profitable business.
