BARC is looking attractive again...

* Currently BARC shares trade on a price-to-earnings ratio of 4.7, with an earnings yield of 21.2%.

* Dividend yield of 4.7% covered by 4.5 times earnings.

* Boston Consulting Group have apparently been hired to review and advise on the long-term weakness in the BARC share price.

* Jefferies reckons large-scale share buybacks are on the cards, probably as much as £10 Billion over the next 2-3 years: £1.5bn of buybacks this year, £2.2bn in 2024 and £2.2 bn again in 2025.

* Jefferies raising its price target for Barclays to 320p from 300p previously. i.e. a potential upside of 107.4% from where we are today.

This is encouraging. Bring on 320p...

Some great points made by BigAl67 in that post. It's also worth reminding everyone that the exercise price of the initial warrants payable to GDR are exercisable at 44.8p a share each (140% of the first ref price of 32p a share) plus that warrants are exercisable for up to four years. i.e. RF will want the share price to be at least 44.8p in due course and are probably expecting it to be much higher and won't necessarily sell at 44.8p either. DYOR.....

GDR has confirmed today that neonatal units across the Greater Manchester area now using the Genedrive® MT-RNR1 ID Kit routinely & that infants from across the broader Greater Manchester area now have access to the rapid test. i.e. it is starting to be rolled out. Encouraging news....

Yes and the fact that the market is clearly welcoming TLW's guidance of over 800 million of free cash flow between 2023 to 2025. The turn around plan is working. 60p a share inbound before we head to £1 a share within the next 12 months based on the numbers we have been briefed on to date. It is looking more and more encouraging here (at last....)

Yes, Adieuk32, come on TLW! 100,000 bopd from Jubilee. Great to see too that TLW have increased production rates by 50% compared to the first half of 2023. Rahul Dhir, Tullow Chief Executive Officer, commented today:

"Reaching production of over 100,000 bopd from the Jubilee field is a major milestone for Tullow, our partners and for Ghana. I look forward to working with our partners to sustain these higher levels of production for several years and to realise the full potential of the Jubilee resource base. For Tullow, delivery of this step up in production is a key part of our business plan, in line with our commitment to deliver over $800 million of free cash flow between 2023 to 2025."

* Entain's £122 million acquisition today of US based Angstrom Sports highlights yet again that sports betting in the USA is becoming a huge focus for the major players.

* The value of our licences is going to be key here, especially in California.

* With a current MCAP of just £6.5 million WEB is looking an amazing buying opportunity.

* 6p a share this year is likely, given its previous track record but ....

* Don't rule out a x10 to 16p a share as a real possibility.

* It's also interesting to note what our Chairman has been saying over the last 2 years via RNS re a takeover / M&A activity: "As a result, the company has had no shortage of informal offers from other interested parties in the space, specifically in the areas of software deals, strategic alliances and, at the operating company level only, mergers and even acquisition".

Consequently, I expect the WEB share price to go much much higher soon....

100p + a share in due course is my prediction, once we have the NHS buying our 2 main products. For what it’s worth this could easily be a 200p a share business within 2-3 years also. It's worth pointing out (again) the huge annual revenue potential here for the GDR CYP2C19 ID Kit, which is targeting the most common type of stroke:

* From GDR's RNS we know that the value to GDR in the UK of CYP2C19 (based on approximately 85,000 strokes each year) is £8.5 million.

* The EU market is worth to GDR £93.5 million EACH YEAR (based on the current 800,000 strokes per year)

* That the U.S. market is worth £67.6 million to GDR EACH YEAR (based on 700,000 strokes each year)

* That the rest of world market is worth £51.0 million EVERY YEAR to GDR.

These numbers are game changing for GDR and will easily eventually support a share price in the hundreds of pence and a market cap to match. Have a great weekend all GDR investors....

The key point to take on board here is that FY23 revenues are expected to be 42% higher than FY22 and FY23 revenue is expected to be 125% higher than FY22. i.e. That is real progress.

I'm expecting ABDX to stablisise x 1 in to the 22-25p per share arena in due course and then climb x 4 from that to mid 50's. A x 8 from today takes ABDX back to its IPO price of 96p a share valuing the business at just over £100 million. That is peanuts in our space and is more than achievable over a realistic time frame.

Plus don't forget that Chris Hand sold Cozart for £65 million.

It's also worth pointing out that the ABDX share price can fly on news. In the seven day period from 17th August'21 to 24th August'21 ABDX went from 26.50p to 85.50p. i.e. A x 3 increase within 7 days. With FY23 revenues expected to be 42% higher than FY22 and FY23 revenue expected to be 125% higher than FY22 the turnaround at ABDX is clear to see. This share price is now on the runway and ready to take off.....

Chris Yates CEO quote includes: "Our focus remains on organic revenue growth, the continued reduction in cash burn towards a breakeven position and profitability, and we believe we have the financial resources in place today to achieve this."

Exactly right. Once GDR actually announce the size of the Devote funding coming our way (probably in the millions) that is when the market will start to respond emphatically. The bigger and more rewarding long term investment picture though is the published forward looking revenue for GDR's CYP2C19 ID Kit, which is going to make GDR's current share price look like a bargain in due course: £8.5 million UK revenue pa, £93.5 million revenue annually from the EU, £67.6 million revenue from the US pa and £51.0 million revenue from the rest of the world annually. These are big numbers and this is just for the GDR stroke kit and does not include revenue for our MT-RNR1 ID Kit. Patience is all that is required...

Will Ambry Genetics counter bid. 1.5p to 2p+ is fair value not 0.52p! This Novacyt offer only values YGEN at £16 million. Don't sell yet I would suggest. 75% of shareholders need to agree. Novacyt has only received irrevocable undertakings of approx 26.1 per cent so far. My average down price is 0.30p but I'm holding out for over 1.5p....

I'll be writing to the fund managers / II's invested in ITV making my points about these misleading "comparables". Writing to CMcC / ITV BOD and IR at ITV is pointless. They know they can't argue with these facts. I'm not in to waffle from a BOD that has had its day and which has overseen the collapse of the ITV share price in such a dramatic way...

Our BOD can't continue to use Netflix / Disney etc as a comparable anylonger as it weakens their argument somewhat. The Netflix SP in the last 12 months is up, wait for it.... 124%. ITV is down 61% over the last couple of years without any of the Netflix SP recovery. Apple is up 49% since January of this year. What about Disney then. That is down 15% over the last 5 years in comparison. A similar 15% decline in the ITV share price would put ITV at approx 135p a share over the last 5 years. It is time for our BOD to stop blindsiding investors with "comparable" share price declines and just admit the fact that ITV's share price is way way down compared to sector rivals....

Exactly right Citizen79. Throughout any due diligence process Sareum would need to be providing the licencing partner or buyer with indemnification provisions as well as updating any outstanding patent issues. The patent RNS today certainly supports / infers this view. There is a lot of news due which should propel the Sareum share price...
