I think there is a big difference in what was said before and the soft farm out comment which means something has changed

Lebugue, I believe the reference to hard and soft in the below article has anything to do with what was stated int he RNS which would be better described as 'informal' as opposed to 'formal' all IMO of course .

I agree Tondy, I think that we are giving the (potential) Conventional farm out partner a good look at the HRZ data. I cant think what else a 'soft farm out process' would involve.

However we wouldst want our hands tied on the bidder for the HRZ if we can avoid it, I think it would be in our interest to be working with separate partners on each project to reduce the associate risks. Though that doesn't apply if its a VERY BIG partner with VERY DEEP pockets

The mention of a soft farm out process begging for non conv suggests something more than just fielding interest from third parties. I expect someone is very interested in the recent analysis

HRZ - so now only 50% of our acreage is in the prospective area. What was the % thought to be before? 100%?
If so that's not a more certain 1.1b barrels rather than a less certain 2.2b barrels?

I can understand the frustration on long term investors who have there original purchase price on the books but realistically we are in a new situation here and transformation means from where we are, not where we were.

It will also be transformational in that is positions us on the road to development of asses with a large partner (?) rather than proving up assets.

The last thing he would have been referring to is the share price, but the assumption is that this would follow on from the above. As a long term holder, to get away from the trap of allowing previous share price guide my actions, I think in terms of MCAP, valued at over 3p with the current number of shares in issue will put value the company higher than its have been valued in the past, or at least close anyway,

Just wanted to ask again how people are interpreting "Final decision on approval scheduled for June"

Would this be the final decision by the Farmee - maybe a presentation to board by those working on the project, or approval by 88E board following report back from the legal team on the T&Cs of the deal?

I expect an 88E agreement would be a rubber stamp at this stage, but agreement from a board of a large cap company could be a little less certain hence the caveats in the update. DW seems confident though.

Seems like as the update is being processed the near term risk / reward opportunity here is beginning to sink in.

Seems as though a FO on HRZ will be a free carry well to prove up the current theory with an option to buy in depending on the result.

An RNS now that said 'all going well and agreement due to be signed in the first weeks of Q3' would be better for my nerve that an 'Agreement signed' RNS at the end of June...
