Not about the seimic?
HFB being misleading. Its all about the seismic at the moment. Propper seismic can not be processed in a day otherwise BOIL would have just done it and not requested a licence extention to get it done, or raised £3m to get it done, or told the market that ir was going to take > 6 months, or engaged a company to do it.
Its a question of quality - if BOIL want someone to pay for a drill (which you need to do to keep the licence but cant afford) you need to have good data. There is no smoke screen snail pace processing while deals are going on in the background, Spectrum Geo Australia Pty Ltd have been contracted to reprocess the data and have advised how long it is likely to take, which has informed the timescales set out in the RNS.
IF a processing facility decision is suddently made how long will that take to finance/construct? Being generous - 3 years?
The route the company is taking is the only one open to it - get some data that hopefully pulls in a farmin to fund the appraisal drill. The decision for which will be taken by December 2022 - after which if BOIL can not secure a partner it will have to drop the licence. To do this a decision will have to be made regarding the offtake because no one is going to fund an appriasal drill on a stranded asset i.e. even if it is sucessful it isnt comercially viable.
No doubt a huge post will be copied and pasted above this to move it down but I suggest those invested read the RNS and do a little research, dont listen to the rampers on here, or me.
