Anyone have good news...or any news how much progress TFN are making?. I don't get down the SE very often now and I do miss not being able to visit a few sites. Is Staplehurst still on the radar?. I sold 75% of my holding earlier this year but I'm waiting for 3p to break even on the rest. Not been very successful selling any Premier Foods either, got close but slipped back again. I'm not hopeful with TFN but I live in hope and wish you all the best with this share...

I rarely comment on RBS but the bad news is just going on and on. RBS clearly should have acknowledged this state of affairs with its Restructuring Division for business customers when it knew the facts. If you or I had robbed some poor old pensioner with a deliberate 'ripoff' we would be facing criminal proceedings and its a disgrace that whomever allowed RBS to operate in this way is not facing criminal prosecution. I did oppose the 'lynch mob' mentality that followed the collapse of RBS especially from MP's that never answer why they didn't fall on their own swords for their incompetence but where are all the independent Directors at the time that should have been watching the way the Bank was run.. Gone, everyone , escaped to other jobs leaving the rest of us to clear away the debris they left behind. Unfortunately an investigation by MP's would only hurt the Bank more and very little would happen the horse has already bolted. Another Day, Another Mess

Ever cautious, the share divi underwhelmed the market but a very careful, progressive company making very steady progress. Looking forward to the full year figures

With Sensium now gone this latest piece of good news should finally 'kick start' the share price. I always felt Toumaz was very underrated .I have topped up seven times since April 2013 .

I bought in average 3p so more than doubled my money. With AIM firms I tend to auto reinvest the divi in shares. This has more than paid off with Stilo. Had my first 'good news' this week with Inspired Energy posting very good half year figures which is good as my share holding has been a touch still in the red, but by buying shares with the divi the average price on these is 8% up. Currently bailing out of Premier Foods and Trafalgar new Homes and buying into TERN. Thanks for your post's always interesting.

Normally a very quiet board on Inspired Energy but I agree, great results. I've held these shares for a few years now and I am 'a touch' still in the red but have held on confident the firm was in good hands. I normally buy shares rather than take a dividend. This has paid off with a profit even tho my general share holding is slightly in the red. Actually make more money buying shares like this with small firms, the share price tend to increase faster than the dividend. Good luck to everyone that had faith.

I don't propose to prolong the argument as to where TFN is heading but to illustrate my point on confusing data. To day the Times reports a brick shortage , holding up some developments by two months?. Not the first time I've read this in what I find is a very confusing supply chain. Just after the Brexit vote the Times reported two 'brick works including kilns mothballed. Most data after Brexit is contradictory, confusing and all over the place. Really need a Cause and Effect analysis...Ishikawa?.

Difficult to say JP , forecast on this board alone range from top end 650k to 200k. I have limited interest having sold about 75% of my holding but the future is mired in very mixed forecast's. Some think the SE will suffer most from a slow down. some people think its still .......onwards and upwards. I take the view a divi is the least worry, the debt bothers me at 2m regardless of who owns it. I would use profits to pay down the debt, one house having already been used to pay in lieu. The company needs 'up front ' cost's and its difficult to tell if this is factored in to any profit forecast. Staplehurst has always bothered me. Its taken since November 2014 to now and still no reported progress. It involves 20-24 plots on a forecast of 1080 units contained in the District plan and opposed by the Parish Council. 20-24 plots is a big step for a company that managed a 2m debt in a very lucrative few years for everyone else.I can only guess the 'up front cost on a plot near a railway is large before you even start building. In short I would pay the debt off, stay small and build confidence you can build and deliver for shareholders and get back to basics.

Thanks for the information. I tend to hold long term and I'm pleased Stilo is finally getting recognition for their research. It certainly is 'patience required' but it pays off.

I don't have a magic wand on investments but I've decided never to let pressure or sentiment dictate buying or selling. This firm had a simple Business Plan which should have made it nibble and quick to react to the market, that's what I liked about TFN .Nearly all the stages are sub contract and priced in. Should be simple to tighten the belt in difficult times and expand in good. The only good point is the debt is owed to the Chairman but its still debt.. Still with TFN lets hope they can keep the improvement going.......... Cheers

Really don't understand this company management team. After the Annual Report why keep an accounting change until a week after. Most firms are reporting optimism for future builds but caution as to the next twelve months on land valuation . Traf could have buried the accounting change in forecast but no, they wait and issue a new RNS making it a 'lead' story for investors. I've never been impressed by this team as most of you on this Board are aware and are slowly selling to get out, but as always good luck to you all.

I hope you are right, I wish every investor success on TFN and nothing would delight me more than to sell at 3p my remaining shares. My first sell was those I bought at 0.08p and I never allow sentiment to rule . I rarely sell shares preferring the long wait but occasionally it is best to rethink your capital investment. I'm lucky I don't need to sell any shares but when you compare the progress made by others in this sector you see record new 'starts' good returns and building a land bank. You also have had several builders float back on the market. I used to visit the SE until last year when my sons family relocated from Epsom to outside Birmingham to escape the 'rat race...and the chaotic railways. My memory was pushing my grandson to play school passing two sites out of three, where the units were already taken before the site was complete. I just don't see this company generating enough cash to invest for the future, pay off the debt and fund upfront costs. I hope I'm wrong but for me a steady step by step exit as and when I choose is best for me. Despite my misgivings I do hope you prove me wrong and enjoy a good return. ATB

Having invested here since 2013 I've finally started yesterday to bail out. I plan a slow retreat, hoping for all of you this simple business model will pay off but, after four years of the best building boom for a decade a 2m debt at 5% interest I don't see a return anytime soon. In fact you need to generate cash to reinvest and will need a better return than 200k a year. Unit costs should reduce as larger building projects stall and brown field site development is always welcomed by local councils desperate to conserve green arears. All in all this Business plan should have been a winner but sadly its way behind the curve.

I check Toumaz most days. I have topped up seven times since April 2013 and have an average price of 4p. We need a good set of figures which finally should arrive now the sensium has been sold . It was difficult because medical monitoring is a massive, massive market if you spend the capital 'up front' you reap the rewards later....like any other business but, the competition is intense. We have to believe the constant research and development / sales costs were beyond recovery and best to sell the IP now and get some cash generation behind the company. Like everyone I hope the wait is over and we are heading for a cash positive company.

Just invested in TERN . I plan to either raid the bank balance or sell some ' in profit' shares to purchase a second tranche..

I found the update a bit woolly to say the least. To many well used words that told us very little.. Still, happy to be invested in Tyratech.

I've ben invested here since 27/7/2009 , so I am very long term investor but I'm starting to wonder who is on the bridge. Do we really have to drive a news story about charging people in the black on Accounts?. There are other banks with a better business profile at present that could lead with this. I suggest the CEO gets a grip of what this bank is about and stop making alarmist statements. A good policy when in a weak position is to 'ride with the heard on bad news'.
