This is a wish like when Novacyt got FDA approval finally after all the US big boys got approval first even though Novacyt had a proven test ready after the faulty CDC. Trump's advisors wanted the big labs that could do the test large scale rather than a minnow UK company that just supplied the reagents. Hence Nova got late approval by FDA.
So for SYN to be mentioned there should be a big deal and supply by US company for him to make open statement.
In the past we thought Nova lacked Antibody test in its armament. However we are now realising antibody test is not of much value. Antibodies disappear after 3 months. So the previous mad rush to do antibodies test is waning. The 2 gene test and sort of POC test in NH and hospitals will be tge big revenue generator.
possible 10c out of the 20 earmarked.
In end March analysts at JPMorgan said Glencore might sacrifice its dividend in order to reduce credit risk.
He is well qualified, experienced, diversified and would not have agreed for results to be released the way it is after primary analysis if he had any doubts.
matt hancrock announced in Parliament on Monday that he would do all that is needed to take the additional steps to take the drug forward with help of MHRA.
So need for raising any money through shares. Period.
*UK GOVERNMENT CAN FUND £10 to £20m*
Uk government has funded various vaccine projects across world in a worldwide effort. As this is the most promising treatment available out there I am sure they will invest with provision that if successful the company gives them the product first deducting the advance they got.
There is £550 million war chest

*SAFETY ISSUE NO ISSUE*
“One of the things that made this possible is the safety profile of this drug,” Francis adds. The existing data in asthma and COPD suggest SNG001 is extremely safe and “doesn’t interact with a lot of other medical conditions or drugs”, which means there was no need to do “additional blood tests before we could give the drug to people”.
*HOME TRIALS ENDING END SUMMER*
However, Marsden is clear that the challenge of recruiting patients means, unlike with the in-hospital trial, this at-home trial is not going to be finished before the end of summer.
This article is from June but informative
Covid-19: Synairgen embraces virtual clinical trials

That is for injectable interferon beta for MS.
The inhaled dose is much lower.
These professors or Dr's are working in hospital and the salary they get is not like those in the Banking sector or big pharma companies. Being academic their pvt practice will be limited. So over 14 years they have toiled for the company with little returns and they can't put all their money in one basket. Since they have big options built in they will rely on it.
1. Synerairgen was given fast track by MHRA to do trial in UK hospitals by UK govt. Therefore if UK MHRA after reviewing data are happy and if SNG001 or lets call it SYNBETA inhaler (time to christen it) gets approval under emergency use then company obliged to help UK govt at reasonable price worked out and govt is generous like they did with Novacyt.
2. If Phase 3 is needed as per UK MHRA then doing it fast in uk currently is not possible due to the low cases. So MHRA will ask for at home trial data and company will galvanise all resources towards completion of that with MHRA help. These 2 data may allow MHRA to approve in UK.
3. If phase 3 trial is needed only way it can be done is a big pharma in US takes a big stake in the company runs the trial in US where covid sadly is nowhere near the peak and large scale recruitment ain't an issue.
4. FDA in US may give approval for EUA or ask for at-home trial data also to approve. COPD data will help to give evidence for sideeffects and safety.
Was relaxing after a busy week.....Gloriosa Rioja......ACDC live video at Doddington from archives blasting with 2400W Ken Kriesel DXD Bass Speaker monster giving the oomph. Man how I wished I could go to their concert. The 64 inch Samsung plasma still going strong throwing some retina searing brightness in a dark room. Lucky neighbours are far away and Mrs with headphone listening to some stuff of hers.
When we meet I will give you all the logic and science behind why n how I went big with Novacyt first and bigger with Synairgan. It was not a blind bet.
Looks like trump needs another enemy to covid to distract his base.....China in crosshairs. In someway I feel happy someone is standing up to Xi and the communist regimen who want to take over the world crushing their own people.

Very good review Day. Always good to read contrarian view. I have saved money over the years listening to logical views especially in a falling stock. Did not know about BBC row they have. Enjoyed reading your view and will step back buying.
was doing further reading and research after I posted on SYM . With current removal of ban on plastic bags they had lower revenue. Come to think of it just like banking sector with prolonged use of plastic bags without restrictions due to covidnobody in a rush to adopt sym technology.
Took lots of plastics bags 15p bags to tesco to recycle and they refused to take it. Hoarding a lot after home deliveries april to June. We now go to store late night to shop ....save some plastic bags.
A few months ago I had mentioned my stock picks (different to most of you gentlemen are into).
One was Symphony technology (SYM) which had FDA approval and unique technology in packaging. Today it exploded on AIM. Had not bought into it as went heavy with SYN. After todays news worth picking up and will wait for 18 to 20p to pick a few.
In case of market downturn
Others on my radar were CCC, SCT - IT field which does well in current working ways. No positions there.
Banking BGEO - has not done well after rising from 800 to 1100p. Perhaps best to avoid all banks with default risks and zero interest in economic downturn. Lucky not invesyed there.
Noted KAZ also stabilised after dilution news.
Billy I am letting the profits ride on SYN. Big tree shake last 2 days there. Will not kill the goose :)

Eviking turned to Evoking
Rinsing turned to Rising
CAML has been a good profit stock for me from the time when they cancelled dividend. Ken liked CAML and recommended. Played buying at 128p and selling at 140 levels.
Buying at 135 levels and selling at 150p and then recent buy and sell. Will Wait for it to drop now.
Only issue you have to sell in multiple small lots of £8k stealthily for MM to give quote at market. Otherwise will not get sold at narrow spread.
I felt it was a good article and comparison
Day - swab came back negative as I expected. We have this scare from time to time in hospital environment when there is unexpected positive patient or staff and if we are in area or around patient we get tested to prevent any silent spreaders.
Billy, evoking - Sold capital investment worth in SYN at 210p and letting profits ride as this has a long way to go as potential treatment.
I had 700k shares of Novacyt also which I sold at 165p level after 30% rising at few highs. That hit £5 and came down to £2.10. My calculations for selling in April was right but missed the big surge to £5. No regrets.
Sold CAML today small holding which I had from 146p level for 166p. Feel it had moved as high it can for now. Will wait with cash to buy safe bets on any big drop.

Have over 700K of synairgen in ISA accounts. Retail investor having a big win finally. Yes there were worrying days when Acacia was on selling spree. However permission for at home trial was hint that in hospital trial was working. Had good cushion from Novacyt profits previously to buy in with risk involved
Product saved lives and one of the important curative options out there as of now. 5% profits of what I make in stock market goes to various charities especially food banks in our area.
Got the handle "breatheasy" many years ago.....Phrase I use when someone gets angry and agitated around me. Synairgen can use it
Snapshot of one of ISA account. Have not been saying much on board as was going by my own research.

Thanks Day for update re meet. Drinks many rounds will be on me mate :)
Sage I should say I am blessed as kids are good and very responsible and moving in right direction.
Eviking I did discuss on this board a while ago but never pushed anyone to buy with my views. I gave logical explanation. Think Day tipped his toes and saw investment turn negative before we saw the "Wooooosh(copy right Ken) today :)
Thanks Billy. The drive to work and help patients is always there and has been for last 30 years. Dont think will retire as kids still not settled.....unless SP rockets further.
Working in NHS is a struggle no doubt at times with all the beauracracy. It is difficult to get good experienced doctors and those who train in UK go to Australia.
Long busy day at work and sitting down. Was certainly happy to see the over 400% . Thanks Ken , George , Day, Sage for your best wishes. Ken was delighted to see your Fresnillo bet paid off ....saw it after few weeks at 1080p. What a surge.
Day FYI sadly 3 patients in the placebo arm died out of 50 compared to none in the treatment arm. And yes Day I will join you all and surprise you gentlemen in Alcester. How come you are having it on weekdays rather than weekend. I suppose most of you are retired. I am really happy that there is a credible treatment now which can be fast tracked with more people being treated in an open study which is based on actual double blind trial unlike remdisivir etc. Bring some hope as vaccine is still far off.
Going forward there will be up and down days. Some pharma companies may start buying in with intention of take over as the COPD/ Asthma and the current Covid market is huge. Matt Hancrock said in parliament that govt will fast track larger trial in NHS while they await approval with regulator who may agree if the home trial results in August proves that it is safe. Game changer as GPs can prescribe early in infection for home use and avoid hospitalisation.
Glimpse of the holding as had bought in more this morning at the first drop at 95p and could not believe got it so cheap this AM. Again to show what I say. Had taken a screen shot at 4pm. Yes Closed at 194p and the 1M is at 222p price. Never thought I would see the day such figures showing up. other holdings in 3 ISA accounts of family. Sold Novacyt early though. Interactive investor prices shown in the account is totally flawed after close most of the times. Now showing yesterday close price :)

Woodford Equity Lost out.
Acacia sold nearly 6 million shares in last month depressing share price to 35p and prior to that at 70p
This link you can access that article without registering etc. Apologies talking about Synairgen on Glen Board
