The size of the land package, the drill results to data inc. historical results on high grade, VMS system which usually means multiple deposits. Buritica nearby sold for $1.5b a few years ago . At 10m oz gold in ground price of $100per oz = $1b. OMI has a free ride in terms of project costs. With 25% ownership at the end. Rough numbers of course.

Metalhead - to answer your question more generally, it is not that Pepas 001 is a "billion dollar hole" but the Anza project itself which covers 200km2 in a highly prospective untouched region, near to Continental Buritica project which sold to a Chinese company for $1.4b a few years ago. Historical drilling at Apta has uncovered high grades and these are VMS type deposits, the whole area could be mineralised which would make it a Tier 1 project.
