A know a lot of nonsense is sometimes spouted on boards about MM tree-shakes, but if you look at Friday there were more buys then sells. MM shaking out weak hands here today imo. I sold other shares to buy more. Am I an idiot, only time will tell. Massive overreaction here imo.

Just wondering what we think the worst case might be here? Newmont will surely not walk and Agnico isn't really I'm a position to play hardball are they? I'm not sure of the specific terms of the current JV but Agnico may loss all the effort and sunk costs to date if they walk. 35% drop seems insane considering.

As a long term holder this is the most depressed I have been. The market appears to be looking at combination of one set of poor drill results, suspension of drilling and concluding there to be a risk that Newmont and Agnico will walk away. Personally, I do not agree with that assessment hence my adding earlier. I am sure Brad is not looking forward to the Q&A on Monday.

Yes Shenners, Phase 1 drilling is over and out partners are deciding how much to throw at Phase 2 while the paperwork is sorted. Don't forget, phase 2 JV is a brand new company so there is a lot of T&C's to work through.

Seingred, you do not make money in mining until resources are formally defined. What do you think the odds are that we have a 10m Oz + resource here? For me, pretty good odds thus undervalued compared to my future estimate of reality.

I am surprised the ask is under 10p again. I have been here since <5p and am buying more here. I have never seen any stock spike like this and then immediately sell-off, time and time again over a 2 year period. I make it 9 such occurances.
Can anyone point me to some others so I can compare?

Extremely irratic behaviour, trading like a ****coin, all while drilling is turning up excellent results over an expanding area and the project is further derisked. The only action that makes sense to me is to buy the dips, I will not try to trade spikes as one of them will not re-trace and then we see the real upward movement when all the traders realise they need to buy back in higher.

Interesting report Seingred, thanks for sharing. It seems the local community is very much in favour of mining, with conditions of course; as long as the correct revenue is paid to the municipality, which is an entirely internal Columbian state matter, and work and investment is made for the community.

Seingred, I don't think you can compare the La Colosa protests to Anza, they are around 1200km apart and it seems La Colosa is much nearer the road network and therefore I assume more visibile and closer to people. Where Anza is situated, west of Medelin, over the river, there appears to be nothing else there and Buritica has had no such issues that I am aware of. As such, I would be surprised at protest but of course it is always a risk with mining.

I always thought that HOC looked after the local community well, provision of schools, transport, I even recall food supplies etc. The protests may just be minority troublemakers and not representative of the whole community. Either way, I am confident they can iron it out and get those permits extended.

HOC should absolutely use these demands as leverage to push through the extended permits which would see a massive relief in the shareprice. Fine to pay a little more tax and have the permits than to risk the whole operation.

Ridiculous valuation here. I am loaded to the gills with this stock. GLA.
