Yes, ofc drilling could start at any time, and the $2m payment could well be accompanied with RNS to say the $20m drilling plan will kick-off immediately in-liue of formal company structure. If that happens it will be a surprise and we leave 10p in the dust with those expecting months of drift having to buy in at higher prices.

Nookie, you are aware that the next one will simply say "We have received $2m from MMA and continue to work towards the creation of the new mining company". I cannot see any drilling start again until the legal documents are all finialised.

Jackbal, it is known as good faith and happens quite often in business, especially when negotiations are ongoing. One party does not want to be seen as being unreasonable. Cuuld they pay the $2m and the Phase 2 still fall through? yes, but that is the risk that MMA are takng which says to me that they consider it a miniscule risk compared to the good faith in paying a small partner upfront.

Ok, my very rough math below does not take into the reduction in ownership to 49%, but the thrust of the argument is still valid. Lets see what happens when Phase 2 is rolling and the size of the deposits becomes clearer.

Remington, this is something that I always struggle with regarding the market valuation here. How is it possible for a company that will benefit from $100m investment to be valued at less than $20m? Yes, there are risks etc but not to the extent that the market can logically conclude that said investment is worth 5 times less than the value of the investment?? My conclusion is that the market is wrong, the value proposition is misunderstood, therefore I continue to buy.

Couple this with the recent news about "9 big projects being expedited" including Inmac, it is odd that price has not moved. Under the radar with very high likelihood that permits are in the bag.

Jackbal, I think the wording is just poor. Very poor. We should not be left to interpret statements like "US$2 million Phase 2 Payment to be paid soon". The statement should be much clearer. My interpretation is that an agreement has been reached with MMA to pay $2m which means Phase 2 deal is 99% certain to progress. I dont care if the $2m comes "soon" or not, but I very much care if there has been a formal agreement that it is coming.

I find it odd that the share price does not move upon the news that the Phase 2 is essentially guaranted now that $2m payment is forthcoming. That is $22m of funds AT A MINIMUM being allocated while our mcap is currently only $20m and doesnt move? Bizarre, given that other juniors would have to dilute 100% to raise such funds for drilling. My only conclusion is that the market is too risk adverse re:Columbia and that the stock remains under the radar.

Sotolo, I would not worry too much about the exact word used here, look how they describe the others "expansion, deposit, Plant, Project" etc. I would suggest that an administrative person is simply entering a project description into the database for the permit process. The key words are "government objective of boosting the unlocking of nine large projects" one of which is Inmac.

Have to disagree Karl, no political risk is worth 20x share price discrepancy! Sure Australia went mental with Covid lockdowns, imo the Ozzie are more at risk from a tyrannical govt than Columbia.

HOC can confirm no more "protests" on-site and we get the permit extensions. Should double imo.

Toon, is this a sizeable part of your portfolio or do have have other similarly large positions? Asking as I am already overweight OMI from a portfolio balance perspective, but I plan to allocate more as I see the opportunity here, especially at 7p, to be much higher than other juniors even casting a wide net to Canada and Australia listings.

Sotolo, I have not heard anything about an ongoing blockade, the company RNS would indicate that it was a one-off "break-in". Happy if you could share any alternative sources as my searches are showing nothing further to the one-off attack.

If this dips back into 5-6p region before any news I will re-mortgage to add.

Just because there is political chaos does not mean that govt stops functioning. There are many jobs on the line. What should the share price be if permits were fully extended? You would think more than 100% upside, much more. I was buying HOC in the 200s years ago when silver was $16. Worst investment I have ever made but at that time I could only only buy HOC and FRES. "miners have leverage to the silver price" is a load of *******s. Silver is up over 40% in the past few weeks and we cannot get off the floor.

If I was Brad this smashing of share price needs to be used as leverage to move the Phase 2 forward, all he has to do is say we cannot wait until March while my s/p declines by 3-5% daily after taking a 50% whollop. They either sign-on now to some kind of pre-contract deal, maybe issue 1m goodwill payment while the T&Cs are being ironed out. Either that or "tell them to bugger off" and look for new JV partners.
