re: fiat printing leading to higher gold price. People have been saying this since 2008. The price is controlled and it seems not enough players taking the physical out of the system to hurt the controllers.

All costs are rising, inflation globally is now the highest seen in modern times. IMO even higher than 70s. Yet, the bankers are still able to control the prices of gold and silver which should be multiples higher.

Pity we cannot share charts here put pull up a weekly and the massive falling wedge is clear, look at the risk reward for entry here. Huge.

MMs are pushing price down on purpose to scoop up crazy undervalued shares and they have succeeded with many throwing in the towel. Not me, I have held for years and have not bothered to try and trade, although I was going to top slice when we peaked above 40 I was in meetings and missed the morning spike. Ah well, this is a long term hold for me until the value at Anza is clear.

What would be stopping directors purchases at this time? It seems Anza is fully public knowledge but would the ongoing JV discussions bar them from buying in? If they can buy in and don't at this price that says it all really.

I have been looking at this, I want some fertiliser exposure and South America is the perfect location. Is there anything in the supply chain of how HMI makes their product that might be affected by war/sanctions between the West and Russia?

Unfortunately for existing holders the overall market environment at this time is favoring momentum/turmoil plays. which I am having a lot of fun with via spreadbets. However, this means that the opportunity cost of having captial sitting patiently in a value play like OMI is very high and this is doubly painful when the stock drops 20% in two days. I cannot blame sellers who see better opportunities out there but of course at the risk that they may have to buy back in at a higher price.

How can you buy 37p shares? From previous warrants? I have held here for over a year, maybe two and don't have any warrants.

After 10pm 90% are buys. Obv a lot sold out first thing.

As they say the market is a mechanism for transferring value from the impatient to the patient. A lot of traders or those with low conviction sold out first thing and now buyers with a longer-term view can pick the shares up at a discount.
