Dear all. People get obsessed with shorts....look at the data.. despite HUR's woes (and it is high risk), shorts have increased 0.2% in the May June period. Total shorts are way lower than PMO, TLW or many other non O and G firms.

What does that tell you? Either it goes bust or it recovers, but they regard the former as unlikely...

Yes, relying on one well is a risk, except.they have 150m in bank and have found more oil at Lincoln. I still dont understand why OGA told them to P and A when it was as promising as the Lancaster drill. So remedial action and / or drill more.

If you think of HUR's 7 well as PMO's Solan moment...but producing more than twice as much from a single well....then you can sleep at night...roll on Lincoln news...I thought it was crazy the OGA told HUR to P&A Lincoln....it was pumping about the same as Lancaster during testing!!! Can they not tie back Lincoln to the AK as a producer and just keep 6 going and 7 shut-off?

Those selling out looking to catch a trade for a couple of p (we all do it) are likely to miss out on mkts pricing in recovery in summer and autumn....if TLW sell assets AND fix production problems (bearing in mind new well coming on stream at TEN plus gas off-take), one could imagine some pretty major write-backs coming in value ascribed. ALL IMOV

They cut op costs, yes, but most of reduction in cost/ BOE comes from capex cuts....
