i'd take 10p, but what about unrisked ?
You admitted you are a non-holder....but listened in to the presentations...i wonder why.
As for CBs trading at half face value, bonds of many oilers are trading at less than half price!
Happy is short...fair enough, but as for "being wound up sooner rather than later", what nonsense. We are producing 15ks a day....and unlike several oil peers, we don't have a going concern statement for either 2020 or 2021...so there is time to put in place mitigation measures, hence the promise to announce these pre-xmas.
I really enjoyed the perched water cartoon animation in the CMD. How can Trice claim it was perched if it was acquifer???? Criminal
I'd persuade Kerogen and CA to fund another producer and forget about water injection...through a placing.
I do wonder if RNS before xmas on remediation measures and forward plan will be more positive than the shocker RNS of Fri?
Hi Slift. Knew I hadn't gone mad....
"In August, the P6 well averaged 12,826 barrels of oil per day, with an average water cut of 15%. P7Z well has been shut-in since early August".
So is the 18% upon restart after maintenance? They seem to have contradicted themselves
I double checked. Sorry Slift, you are right 18% . I could've sworn I saw 15% mentioned too...maybe in the transcript
Thanks Slift. However, there seems to be contradictory info in the RNS. It clearly says 15% for well 6 somewhere. Also in the transcript I posted this am
Yes, I posted it earlier today. It includes q and a
Richard Chaffe CFO on the water injector:
"So the reserves at the moment are just working off the existing wells that we have. If you put in the water injector, then what you do is you actually extend the life of those wells. So you start – you increase your reserves and, in fact, we move some of those 2C numbers to reserves, purely by putting in the water injector alone.
So that increases your reserves significantly. So one piece of infrastructure does that. And then, subsequent to that, that then clearly gives you a stable base for which then to consider additional producer or producers as is required as we see how the field develops at that point.
So effectively, it’s a staged process. So it doesn’t need to all happen at once. But we do believe that first and the most appropriate step based on our work so far would be to put the water injector in".
Anyone have a clue how.much additional production and longevity the water injector would buy? How much bang for 75 million usd? This is a crucial question..

Dreadful RNS but some positives e.g. operating cashflow expected to be better in H2 than H1. All eyes on 6 WC. 15% in August vs. 12% reported in June. Is there some hope it won't be as quick as 7z as it's a bit higher up?
Sham = scam. Newbie appeara posting 100 times away how terrible everything is. We know. Have you seen the sp? The question is,,,,,where from here.
The reserves weren't downgraded 90%, the contingent resources were...the reserves haircut was not 90%. Hannam put a NAV at 7pish even with the material downgrade warning....though they hadn't seen the figures..
Sham . Your post is just that...a sham! The price on secondary markets of the bonds is different from the enterprise value of HUR which is its market cap plus the debt.
Bonds are 230m USD not 250m
BuyinMay, agreed. We are assuming Kerogen and CA will just sit there and allow the equity to become worthless. It could well be that they spring to rescue on funding...through a placing. Whilst that would dilute, it could also save and rerate equity. All IMOV, DYOR, not investment advice etc.
If Kerogen av. down at least they will be buying shares in the open mkt. Would also encourage the shorters to close. I'd welcome a bid to put out of our misery!
Nic, I too would like to hear your reflections. Going through your posts you thought a water injector could help remediate and get production back up. Your thoughts on the est. costs of 70 to 80m vs benefits would help.
At least they will save 40 million on commitment well, which could offset costs of water injector? I am surprised how costly a water injector is so that was bad news along with the rest :-(
