I found RMs comment that 'we stress tested patients self administrating SNG in a home setting with virtual support' all the more interesting after reading about the NHS covid plan

I recall thinking it was a point of interest in RMs interview on WebMD that he referred to the UK home Trial as 'stress testing' the self administration of SNG with medical support via zoom and that it was successful by this metric.

Anecdotally, two mates tested positive this week, both male late 30s, 1 natural infection+ double vaxed, 1 treble vaxed. Both have had mild/moderate symptoms and moving in the right direction thankfully, but both experienced some mild breathlessness..

If the infrastructure is in place and you're keeping someone out of a hospital bed, the £2000 price tag really isn't really that big is it?

Ah fair play. He certainly implies the trials are underway, but I think the SAB drug is the IV Treatment mentioned and they had first patient dosed on P3 in OCT - so don't know if he's referring to both. I certainly hope your interpretation is correct though!

Purely anecdotal, but as I have little ones and I'm sure many of you do too, of great interest.

Just asked a good friend (who also has a little one) that works relatively high up in the MOH if there was anything to the under 5s issue as has been reported, he advised he hadn't seen anything to say so as of yet. Very hopeful it is indeed the case.

I had thought SAB had also published efficacy results of avtiv phase 2 but can't seem to find it anywhere, so perhaps I was mistaken on that one.

WF I think City was alluding that with Sprinter now in the books, any data from Activ phase 2 could be shared without affecting the sprinter trial. That's how I took it at least hence my response...
