Took your advice and waited and sold out at 225. Im out now. Just wanted to say thank your Neil. I haven't commented on here much but I have read your comments as I have followed the share and really appreciated the no nonsense approach. I made a fatal mistake not selling another share I have at the peak as I was just greedy. Learnt my lesson there now which is why I have sold my full holding today which has given me enough profit to pay off a big chunk of my mortgage so just wanted to say thank you for your words of wisdom.
I had in my mind to sell at 200 but the 225 was too good to miss when I came in at 87p. and you selling really made up my mind to do the same. Good luck to everyone else who is holding, not doubt it will go higher but dyor. I needed the cash and the additional money I might have made is my loss and your gain.

Thank you Neil. Looks like I missed the high today. I’m not in a desperate rush as held this long. Appreciate the advice and will see if we gain towards Christmas

So like most I’ve been watching the broker notes that have all been predicting the 2 to 220 mark. With the results today being so great I am expecting the shorts maybe to reduce their positions.
I came in at 87p and am now sitting on a good profit. The question with any investment of course is when to come out. Haven’t been bitten before because of greed the question is should I sell or is there going to be further substantial gains. Neil I value your opinion where do you think this could go from here?

I see that the short has reduced in the uk to 0.79% down 0.14% which is good news. Might see more on the back of the rns tomorrow?

Had a school meeting today and when the kids go back all restrictions that were in place are being removed so back to normal. If our school is anything to go by and all schools have this approach then there will definitely be a surge. Also my family have been hit with a really bad coughing and sore throat bug. Had several lft tests and pcr tests all coming back as negative so it’s just normal flu. Again if this is going on all over the country this will be driving up tests.

Looks like that drop this morning was a 2m sale. hopefully we will recover over the day from that.

Once the dhsc dispute is closed and we launch the antigen LFT test we should hopefully see some momentum imho
Patience is what is needed now

Being a long term holder in the share I completely agree. However we only have ourselves to blame. I just had a conversation with a friend who I have said to him if The sp gets to a certain price he must call Me and tell me to sell. If I say to him I’m waiting for news he must tell me to sell. If I say I’m convinced it’s going to be bought out, he must tell me to sell. If I say I know this product is just going to be released and all indications say it’s a game changer he must convince me to sell. Having now learnt my lesson that the old adage of a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush which I know having kicked myself around mentally since not selling in January is so true. So take some advice. If we do see a rise, which I think we will have a set price in mind you will sell for. Then Stick to it.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing but learning from your mistakes is another equally valuable lesson

Hi Kaeren I seem to remember when there was an attack on all Covid stocks at once but I haven’t seen that today maybe that’s what you are thinking of. This could be vatel closing we had this last time they closed some out last year

That’s an excellent post and sums up the position perfectly for me. I’m the same been in over a year could of sold and made a lump of money but always thought this was a billion pound mcap sp1500. It is just going to take time, faith and some good fortune. We couldn’t be better placed at the moment and for those that have done their research such as the big II who haven’t sold their shares fortune will definitely favour the brave

If you looks at the pictures and the amount of people out today you would think the virus was over. This couldn’t be further from the truth. The world is still under attack from this deadly virus.

Let’s hope so sharesdealer. We need the luck or by another name some huge order from someone else in the world so it shows we are not just Relying on what’s going on in our small country. ??crossed everyone let’s hope today we finish ahead as last Friday still haunts me.

Excellent posts. Rsmithy. I feel actually the same and have been kicking myself for being greedy back in Jan. I agree the fundamentals haven’t changed we have just lost maybe some revenue from one contract. We have many other avenues we just need some confidence bought back in with information around what we are winning now.

I think your £30 is a much more realistic figure. Gm said he wanted to get to midcap status. 2 billion would make us around that kind of figure given a pound or two. Looking at it overall i reckon that would be a fair value IMHO. I agree with Porky that it kind of all fits against the points raised that MAY indicate a take over. Certainly I am sure it would give a windfall to a great many people. With the SP being so stale investors are just holding which is confirmed by the volume today again of 0.68% . I watch this everyday and when we were in a normal phase we saw regularly 3% of volume traded on the bourse.

Thank you for returning. I for one being a long term holder here as you know have valued your research and answers over the months which have steadied the ship in times of stormy weather and encouraged me to hold which I am thankful for.
I hope the board can return to an area where we can share the evidence as it becomes available as we all did before. We all know that sentiment holds its place on aim and this combined with good research and intelligent discussions will serve us all long term to drive us all towards the common goal we hopefully all share of seeing Novacyt reaching its billion pound m-cap that GM has talked about.
