We saw yesterday at the end of the day the sp drop as people took profit and then a rise as those golden tickets were snapped up. They are getting rarer and more valuable by the day. So much talk on here and Twitter about what the broker notes have said of a sp between 13-30. We had the fund managers talk yesterday talking about how in their opinion we will be bought before long. The on top of that we have all the news we are hopefully expecting. Care homes, France order, USA sales , our sales numbers etc etc.
I keep saying sell now to get rich and hold to be wealthy. We can all see the uk news with more people going into lockdown. France yesterday with over 40k infected. USA with increasing numbers and deaths. This is now long term and the market is waking up to the fact. Hold hold hold unless you need that money in your pocket today.
To all the long term holders. These are the days when we all wished we had sold at £5 when we saw it drop back to £2 these are the days we all had faith and held. Let’s do the same now and hold for gold.

Thank you Bing and wilson i was on a zoom call at 1 so couldn't listen so just read through the rest of the notes. Certainly sounds bullish and very interesting that they think we could be bought out by GSK. It is very quite on the news front coming from Nova so who knows. I certainly think a 3-5b buyout price based on a pe 5/10 could be really possible which could give us a £30 £50 sp price.
all speculation of course but looking at the run we had today with no news we are all certainly cooking on Gas. Well done to those that held today. As we get up higher and Higher on the sp its getting much harder for us old timers that have held from March/April to hang on in there. Im now sitting on a nice profit which is beyond what I thought was possible. I strongly believe there is more in the tank though so well done to those that bought today as this train/ rocket call it what you like is definitely proving to be a once in a lifetime opportunity.

You’ve got to hold to Jan for the second contract to kick in with the nhs. It could be even bigger by then when they realise the other tests are not so good. Q16 and q32 will be on everyone’s radar. Not just here but around the world. Why else dis we buy the company. Sell to get rich. Hold to become wealthy

So lots of different views here. I’m with Usain I would welcome a takeover. For me that would be an exit point and the sp is decided for you. Currently I’m all over the place on what the sp would be to exit. I know it’s not everyone game and same will just want to stay invested. Like I said at the beginning we don’t know what goes on behind closed doors. Made for an interesting conversation. See you all tomorrow at 7am. How funny it would be it we now wake up to see the trading suspended awaiting the takeover.

On this board we used to talk about being bought out. With all the excitement lately of the growing news and expectations we haven’t discussed the possibility of who might and what might the price be. We never know what’s going on behind closed doors.
So what’s the feeling of the board? For my own personal opinion I feel given the growing publicity of the different pod casts, the twitter interest and the growing mentions in the public domain we are getting know as an extremely successful story that still has many pages to turn. The other important developments are the broker notes. This gives some validation to why the sp is heading.
Would someone value us now at Between 2-3 billion? I think so.
What’s the feeling out there?

To all the new investors here. Some of us have been investigated in Novacyt since March and we have seen the ups and downs when confidence and sentiment was either high or low. Trust me when I say that the confidence and the sentiment currently is the highest it has ever been. Just look at where we have come from. I can remember thinking if it just gets back to the 529p high we saw that would be great. Now I’m thinking if we can get to the broker note price of 1320p ish that will be brilliant. Look at the confidence we have in the company with the new brokers we have seen buys of millions of pounds in the last couple of weeks something I thought wasn’t possible. We have a follow on NHS contract for over double the first looming just around the corner in Jan. We have not had sales figures since June and we kinda know from the contracts we have found on this board it’s likely to be more then the broker note. We are holding around the 900p mark and looking at all the cup and handle charts that people are talking about on Twitter we need this period before we have an RNS land with the latest news. Could be acquisitions, care plan contract, France order, USA orders, if you are long term here you will know the rest. Just hold hold hold we all know the games the mm play but let’s face it we have climbed a long long way so we will climb more more more you just have to be Patient
Imho we should hear something soon which will give us that next leg up.

I think your point is well made and I have seen a few of the long term holders on here saying the same thing. There will always be the day traders who are happy with the 5 to 10 % raises that happen and yes if you are lucky you can get rich. I suspect a lot of new investors here that have recently bought will be wanting to sell when we reach a few extra percentage. However as a lot of the long term holders here will know is I’ve been saying I have believed that this is a billion pound m cap and the sp is £15. What we have seen over the past week is the sentiment actually changing and believing especially now we have the broker note. What we have also seen is what we believe are funds buying in. This is a big signal. Funds as I have said before have teams, specialists, experienced people who know how to read what is happening and what is likely to happen if they are investing millions of pounds. Add on to this the current position of the uk both health wise but also politically. Add on to this the gravity of the situation in France where we are hoping they will place a large order we are having what seems like a perfect storm. 17000 new cases today and 64 deaths. We are going to have a very interesting time ahead. Hold or sell?
Someone said today on the board that those who are prepared to hold and wait are the ones that will become wealthy. This company has a long way to go. Perhaps the blue sky target of 34 maybe may be no5 so blue sky after all

When Covid struck I paid 450 in March which since then it has got anywhere near it got over 1000 at some point but has dropped back to here. It will return. I’ve literally just driven past the spoons at the bottom of the high st in Guildford and they are queuing around the block to get in.

Boris didn't say 5 mins tests. If he did he shouldn't have. This is the official transcript and it says 15 mins tests, if you read it fully it says

Read into that what you will. I think he's talking about the maybe the DNA nudge tests. It wouldn't surprise me though he we land an RNS talking about a 15min test we have developed.

Good afternoon brilliant broker note and the subsequent rise this afternoon as been brilliant. For those of you new to investing
I have no doubt that over the weekend we will have a loads of what are know as de- rampers appear with all kind of nonsense. this will include, the vaccine is just around the corner we wont need testing, so and so have a faster test, this is now bound to go down etc etc etc, These can normally be spotted by looking at their profile that is normally new and its their first couple of posts. The long term members will call them out as there are some well known people.
So just be aware.
