Are directors allowed to buy bonds? I am wondering if CF preferred the terms of the bonds to the uncertainty of placement shares? They are interest bearing aren't they - so getting a return without having to sell must be attractive if you can afford it.

jim, your question begs the answer - if the flow rate is strong it will be soon, otherwise it will be longer, if you see what I mean? i.e. nobody knows until it happens?

I am having difficulty envisioning 5g from satellites.
4g and 5g suggests mobile phones to me - I can see you can pick up the signal from your broadband hub in the home - but how are you going to get a signal once you are outside?

I picture users walking around with a satellite dish on their heads like Emett Brown :O)

I dumped Santanders 123 credit card after cashback on £1500+ from April was just over £2 which did not even cover the £3 pm charge for the card! I opened a Tandem credit card (pays 0.5% cashback on all transaction over £1, so all of them, with no fee). First transaction was May 6th, statement date was yesterday 20th June, and today I see they will take the money from my direct debit within 24 days. Gulp, how friendly is that?
An unexpected feature is they send a memo to your phone within a couple of minutes of any contactless use telling you the amount and where it it was used! I reckon the dumbest copper could catch a fraudulent user in no time?

Myo, a word of warning , Carondean (Camps) is one of the gurus from the very early days when iii was THE board to be on! However, the trader's taxi has visited houses of ill-repute on the way but they have cost him nothing - his trades have covered the cost of the visits and the drivers waiting time. At the end of the journey, the investor feels great, the trader feels his STD. Simples.

chilts, I think you are confusing shorting with day trading?
The shorts look to be very low - and involve 3 bodies.
People are not borrowing shares at today's price and selling them, they are selling their own holdings with a view to buying back cheaper in minutes,hours or days!
The borrowers are obliged to buy back one day at any price (the shorters) , the traders can put their money where they want (but not where I'd like to shove it).
Both types can drag the price down but only one is unethical imho. I disapprove of both because they are dragging us down and neither are trying to create a fair sp at genuine investors paper expense.

I am forgetting how humourless we are on here, so my Burundi reference probably meant nothing.
This video has no pictures to start with but captures the unseen drumming and shouting experience (I did not know what to expect) beneath us in the walkways. And a minute or so into the video they appeared up the stairs in all their glory.The poxy light show detracts from their performance imho, in broad daylight it was far better in London.

If the price rises significantly they profit from their investment, if it goes down they make a killing on their short, assuming they got in it at a reasonably price? I hope this is what they are doing - it is more honourable than shorting a share out of greed!
