Decided to listen again and very near the start I think he said exactly what Thornback understood - part of 10Mw but the next word was indistinct and ended with 2Mw. I am pretty sure he said "call that 2Mw" which in TG speak is likely to be the minimum estimate because he never exaggerates. Chicken and egg? Their estimate of 2Mw from the wells determining the size/number of generators or vice-versa? Generator(s) chosen by budget, and then 2 wells looked to be enough to fuel them?
Next round , compare Mamba with Lesedi wells to see which is most productive? Or treat them equally for a double supply of CBM? It is great to know whatever he decides is going to be sensible and costed properly.

Davielad, have you looked at the three site videos or just the newspaper photo of a gate with Sirius information on it?
It was punt when there was just open spaces and a gate or three, but any fool can see that the company is now worth a fortune and I'd hope that many other concerns would pay handsomely to take over and complete it.

GK - my latest surgeon suffers from gout and explained it to me.
I take daily allopurinol but, when I have an attack, I add Indometacin for a day or two to clear it up.

I got gout in my good leg (in the worst place - the knee) while I was in hospital and they did not have Indametacin in the hospital pharmacy!

He said Indametacin is old fashioned! The modern approach is to increase allopurinal to levels that work (must be done gradually) and use steroids for the odd failure to treat the pain.
I was increased from 100mg to 200mg in the Autumn which he said was still a low dose for a man! He takes 400mg.

Allopurinal pushes the uric acid through the kidneys which risks kidney damage if accelerated too quickly.
So incremental steps of 100mg is recommended. I am still on 200mg and have a stock of Indametacin - call me old fashioned.

I lied, no! Would you believe I offered zero voluntary amount and the compulsory is only £250?
I am sure I have used Hastings before so perhaps it was on the Triumph and that history helped (I have never dropped it)?

Carole Nash came up with £319 but, wait for it, Gocompare (who have overtaken confused.com for my car insurance) came up with a beaut! Hastings Direct at £126 with no NCB - very happy with that! Over and in!

Oh, also found the receipt for the chain and sprocket .... £115 for the pair.
Yout £500 insurance expalins why the Spanish are such good riders - they cannot afford to drive on the road so are experts at race tracks and off track :O) nothing like driving across wet grass with road tyres to learn how to handle a bike?

Well, Scotty , I have been digging out my insurance for the bike and found cover up to April 2013 so I have 13 years no claims. Makes sense because we found out about LIz's cancer in July 2012.
Changed my quote to 9+ years and the quote reduced to £93.54p
Now have to see if those intervening 6 years will compromise that price, or whether I insured from 2013 to 2014 as well? My memory is shocking! Found a £350 fine for 'refusing to identify a driver' that I had forgotten.

Scotty , it sounds like my previous long message disappeared before you saw it, so you'd have missed my quip about being one of the first born again, born again bikers? I guess it is rare?
The roads are quite good for bikes around here - for me to get back in the saddle the roman road stretch on the Poole to Dorchester road is ideal to get an impression of speed again. My favourite bit of road was arriving in the opposite direction from the Bakers arms to the water tower on Tower park. A dual carriageway with beautiful curves over Fleetsbridge flyover in particular! Then they built a fire station near the flyover and created a tightish roundabout for fire engines (with their own traffic light) and access to the Holes Bay dual carriageway (another nice stretch, but now a stupid 40 and 50 mph speed limits apply to the whole lot from the approach to the roundabout.

I used to like Sedgemoor where you could be air-borne if you did not spot the severe hump back bridges or that there was a 90 degree bend and a rough track appearing where you thought the road was going straight on. Cannot remember if there were road signs but I guess not?

Hi Scotty, I don't know whether you read my message on the bike before the whole thread was deleted, presumably because one of the fun loving criminals (flc) on here reported it?
I'll therefore keep thisshort for several reasons!
Bike is booked in to be collected on Independence day, mission to get it roadworthy and MOT'd.
Garage asked if the wheels are 'free' after all the years it has been parked up.
I was strong enough to sit astride it but not to push and pull. I have a luggage rack at the back of the seat which is strong enough to balance the bike and roll it.
Brand new chain and sprocket were rusty but I was able to WD40 them and push it back and forth. So new ones needed again I suspect plus the petrol tank emptied into the sump so that needs cleaning up. New battery too and whatever else he finds. I have been too scared to try and start it in case it catches fire so it is years since it fired up.
Might be expensive but it is the kids inheritance I'll be spending and they'll probably get it back on SXX eventually.

Leg and foot are easing but as they change I feel different sensations - numbness and tingling mainly.
I was able to change gear with the foot when I sat on it, so I have not given up hope of tonning it up again one day.
Not sure what the insurance will be after 17 years off it? Will be more than the £118 it was after the millenium I reckon?
