Have been pondering - if CF had sold 400m of the 500m bonds as he stated in the link - are we struggling to find buyers for the last 100M or could some or all of the 400M buyers reneged on their offer to buy?
I can understand the upbeat response from Customer Relations if it is the former.
Why waste time and effort if the market is deadly quiet, if it is sensible to expect the final 100M to be bought soon after the holidays without much effort?

Somebody on another board talked about CF making a cringing statement yesterday? I cannot find one and the poster is a right charlie, so I won't ask him where he saw it and suffer his dough baked answer cos he is filtered!

After Sirius taking so long to get where it is (out of cash in a few weeks), TLOU seems relatively quick. You haven't been helped by the get rich quick brigade who are so impatient and want everything yesterday.

Looking on the bright side, we believe the cbm is present and is measured in the trillions. It has been trapped there forever and we are trying to help it to escape ..... it seems like a question of time before it happens in sufficient quantities?
The fissures in the coal, suggested by the dewatering process , sounded very promising. Water is very dense compared to gas, so why wouldn't gas get through? We have to trust in Tony - I do completely which makes it easier for me.

Whizzer - we do not have a business until we have a reliable gas supply.
It is an agonising wait for that news but no news is better than bad news - look at Sirius !
We are all hopeful of good news 'soon' - whatever that means!
Very good news could be a game changer - planning on 2Mw then another 2Mw is more achievable than going for 100Mw from scratch with unknown flows!
But, if the flows support it , what is to stop 2Mw being followed by a 50Mw generator?
Compared to Sirius this project is an express train compared with a barge! Sirius know they can complete in time, given the cash, we don't YET, but be happy thst our shares won't bnumber 9 or 10 billion, and our lead time will be much shorter.

Do people really think Tony will sell if there is a bidder?
At 58 yrs I expect him to make this his final project, and his future is open ended.
I can see pros and cons for both options, but TLOU could feel like the achievement of a lifetime?

We are using the gas to power electricity generators and we will sell the electricity.

Once connected to Serowe we have 4 or 5 countries waiting to buy it.
Tony said he doesn't need an order from Botswana to survive. That is why he cracked on with the podding while Botswana procrastinated over tenders from companies with a track history in their country of supplying cbm driven electricity.

I always thought they cut and pasted a previous tender document which insisted on that history because it was relevant.
As nobody has generated electricity from cbm in Botswana, it was a pure waste of time for all concerned. But TLOU did not lose out that much except for the production of new tender documents and the bumf surrounding what was needed! Clarifications by the tonne I reckon?
