It crossed mmy mind to snap up double my holdings for £400 in the hope that my £400 was due to recover.
But then I thought about the 650M debt which has not been mentioned , and compared it with their savings from this drastic move.
I don't think I'll be here for long enough to see us become profitable. There are better prospects for £400+ to leave my kids.
Shame, I have been proud of their achievements in space, such a pity their sales technique was a waste of space for so long.
But why didn't Africa get the bug to have the internet? I'd have fallen into the same trap for sure - it seemed to be a matter of time and maybe it still is!

I am thinking of the practicalities here.
Will Avanti issue us with share certificates through our brokers?
Our holdings will presumable evaporate there? BUT, A BIG BUT, it says Jenkins will not deal with us directly but through our brokers.
Perhaps that covers my first point, our brokers will get us paperwork to replace our nominee accounts? And then Jenkins will deal with paperwork thereafter?
I look to have invested a similar amount to Wress which is worth less than £500 - most of the cash spent at £2.20 and above.
Hardly worth taking that poultry amount - just have to accept I bought a turkey and hope they try to look after us for once.

I'm happy, Westpac on ASX are on the move in my dividend chase. Already bagged a dividend from CBA next month.
Keep up the twaddle Donk, those dividends are paid AUD which I spend on TOU.

Westpac dividend is more than a couple of months away - you cannot help my price because I reckon TG may have some news before then. Will have to put the money into into CBA for the interim in February.

Murray, if you watch here, the trickle charger has raised the dead battery to 8.8v but it is very slow from there. Rises 0.1v per day, but may have reached its ceiling after 10 years disuse ? I am trying to think of what I can run at 8.8v to see if there it it will deliver a reasonable current. Did think about shorting the terminals to see if the sparks fly. I must have something that needs a 9v battery but things like smoke detectors won't draw any power. Annoying!

Bought an inverter for the Berlingo so I can charge the scooter on the road. It converts 12v DC to 220v AC so I can use the mains charger without an extension lead to the house. It is good for 300 watts, but at about 120 watts (5 amps max @ 24v) on the charger the cigarette lighter plug gets quite warm. 10 amps doesn't blow the fuse and I can charge the scooter while I am on the road. The scooter does nothing like 30 miles as per manual, probably because of the hills around here and the rough terrain I subject it too.

Not moved on the Honda yet - saw a beauty on ebay in a place called Southam near Stratford. It is on 38 bids at £4,900 which is beyond the reserve price.

I know my youngest son used to have a lot of respect for him - way before TLOU!
If it was he , he used explain why he had his opinion but there were many great posters in those days.

He has just announced they reduced the dewatering flow because of the high pressure.
Could be a lot more than the expected water - now how was he to know that in advance?

That is how we are being described on the other site by mug the thug , Donk , who is thicker than any coal seam in Botswana.
Having accused Tony of not being ambitious enough he is now deriding how much money he is wasting with horizontal wells.
I think one horizontal well costs 3 times the cost of one vertical well.
But consider how many vertical wells you'd need to cover the same area , 3 is probably 3 needles in a haystack!
If you miss water , you'll have nothing. So repeat the dose? Donk makes no sense at all and is filtered by many over there.
You might well drill deliberately wide of your target if the terrain is easier to drill, and then go horizontally as far as you need to hit the fissures and water in the coal field. In practice it is better to drill down to the coal and drill along the seam, but you hopefully see my point?
It all makes sense to me what TG is doing - but we are both a pair of fools to Donk. TG is quite a rich fool, with £28M invested here, I guess Donk thinks he won that on Euromillions! He never justifies any of his claims, just pulls them out of thin air!

It is difficult to comment, BTS, I have stated what I believe, as has TG in my book, but not in yours and others.
There was a huge delay with Botswana's announcement of their preferred bidders. I have always put that down to Sekaname insisting on a large order to make it worth their while.
TLOU consistently wanted 10Mw in stages and Botswana wanted bids for 50Mw!
Too much in my book already, but they raised it to 100Mw , surely to accomodate Seka's demands?
There was an almighty flaw in the tendering process whereby neither of the two bidders could be considered from the off.
BG stipulated that to qualify for consideration, companies must demonstrate they had previously supplied CBM powered electricity to Botswana. The retendering under new rules and regs caused the delay. Both parties must have queried every clause that was ambiguous after the first round!

Dewatering caused the latest delay after process. More water than expected will vacate either a larger area or more fissures - both suggesting more plentiful gas but I'll shut up there. I've stopped posting on Advfn and I am going to back off here as much as I can. I am monitoring ASX / TOU because they might trigger the stampede once news breaks. Hopefully forwards but who knows?

Chukkers, Selemo is powering our domestic generators, savings us buying diesel.
Donk's royalties definitely apply to Selemo gas, I am hoping (against my belief) that we'll go live with gas outside the royalty zone. I think Lesedi is still in PL002/2004 but we do have rights outside that area.
Who knows, the phased development might be to phase some of them in? TG is not the type to say he wants to shaft Sekaname's nest egg. There is no substance to that idea, purely conjecture on my part, from my wish list :O)

BTS, nobody should be bothered by a temporarily low price, unless there is a need to sell, of course.

It seems inconceivable that the price will be below 10p for long after that news. We've hoped for confirmation of this for a few months, and news could literally be released any minute, hour, day, week, or month - not years as you fear.
Of course, the news might be bad and the gas won't flow .... that fear is why we are at 5p .... not because we don't have orders.

Haven't taken my Sertraline today, better do it now, in case I start bothering after all.
It all comes down to whether you have total faith in TG .... he knows whether things are good or bad .... that is why his smiling version of late encourages me all is well.

ASX market looks totally dead TOU wise, but getting details of trading there is tricky.
Once the price starts rising, I envisage a stampede, but will that be first on ASX or AIM? Both are so static that there is no impact on each other's sp in either direction. Gas flow publication will be the ref's whistle - but will the RNS be before UK trading opening hours, or ASX's?
We only need them to support that first 2Mx generator to get us rolling .... but will Lesedi #3 and #4 alone provide enough gas ? The suspense is tiring I must admit, and it has only been a few months so far. I feel a Topol song ,from Fiddler on the Roof, coming on! If only I could stamp my left foot :O)

Well said AE, it is refreshing to hear someone who is not obsessed with orders being made for electricity that are not required in advance. The demand is there in several countries, not least South Africa, who prefer to supply Botswana at a premium price, rather than address their own domestic shortage for less!
Botswana will snap up our production imho, but if they do not we can offer it to South Africa. That sounds ridiculous - the two countries selling to each other? The Minister of energy or whatever his title is, has said Botswana will throw itself behind CBM powered electricity if it is feasible. That predates production - why don't people see that actual electricity has a ready made market?

TG repeatedly says the price will rise and wants to sell at the prevailing price upon production, and not at a lower pre-arranged price from 2019. The sp has been held back by such worries imho , TG ain't bothered , I am not bothered and neither is Kate Tate. I am bothered by people who are bothered though :o)

Lesedi 3 and 4 are expected to provide enough gas for the first generator , say 2Mw with a bit of confidence.
I have debating with another poster that this is sensible approach whilst he takes Sekaname's side and says a straightforward 97Mw is the way to go!
48 times more gas will take a lot of wells, and therefore time and cost, so we will, hopefully, be on the grid with several generators - if Seka ever get there. I think the guy is playing devil's advocate but I'm not sure on that board.

He admits to owning shares in Tlou, but criticises TG endlessly, and me for being a sucker!

If you are worried by the delay is gas flows just listen from 4.5mins in to 6minutes - it will reassure you (well most of you) that the weeks into months delay is getting results is actually brilliant news.
