When AVN was 1.47p , SXX were at 14.7 ....... and they are my 3 UK shares in my watchlist (not portfolio) on IG (AVN = 0 shares).

What are the odds of such similar numbers occurring.

5.01p and 5.48p was Avanti - up an amazing 27% against all the odds!

My broker is showing us just over 5p .... the 29% rise on ASX in August only took 4 early trades and 4 later trades later for not that many shares. When /if we get busy the price looks ready to fly. 5.01p so not a lot, as Paul Daniels might have said, but just over! Declaring the high as 5.48p on the day. I'll leave you all in peace. Dog needs her constitutional.

That was all I wanted , a fair hearing for the man who has tried his hardest to make us all a brilliant return on our faithful investments.
During my life I have experienced injustice at the hands of a liar in one case, and blindness in another. When you are doing your best it really hurts especially when the perpertrator goes unpunished. I turned freelance to fight a court case against the liar but my main witness, a copper who told me what had been said to the the chief constable of Dorset Police, said he'd deny having said anything if I took it further. He never realised he'd light the blue touch paper with a flame gun! My superintendent was ex-complaints and discipline and never told me! I bumped into him at a pub years later so he knows how I feel about him.
Bloody liar tried to tell me he had left the project at the time in question! Never landed my informant in it, because he was a friend. Never trusted coppers since. But in fairness it is easy for them to lose their pension rights - nasty business!

I gambled on AIM catching up with the ASX rise, but ,alas ,after a brave stand-off the ASX for 5 or 6 weeks they have come back to AIM instead, costing me a couple of grand. Gone from paper £700 profit to £1300 loss - not that £700 was realisable @ 10.5c , an unachievable price! And £1300 is at 8.8c again unachievable! So IG balances are optimistic until the sp rises.

Not all bad news , my dividends, ear-marked for TOU, will be getting me more TOU shares if news is not forthcoming until 26th!
Put that in your diary! You can bet your life it will all come good on the 25th or earlier - murphy's law!

I have compared Tlou's progress with the Grand National.
I found this publication earlier and around Valentines day we had Lesedi #3 ready for testing, and were about to commence drilling development pod #4's lateral pods.

The doom and gloom on here seems to have lasted years over gas flows! Or is Feb 12th misleading?
It is crazy how lax people are with publishing dates.

Valentines brook (water how appropriate) is both fence 9 and fence 25 (of 30 in total) in the National.

Tlou Energy has successfully completed the drilling of the Lesedi 3 development pod at its CBM project in Botswana.

Highlights

Lateral wells Lesedi 3A and Lesedi 3B have been successfully completed with both wells intersecting with the vertical well Lesedi 3P to complete the Lesedi 3 development pod.
Dewatering and gas flow testing at Lesedi 3 will commence following the installation of production equipment.
The drill rig is being moved to the second planned production pod, Lesedi 4.

It is going to be worse once he has satisfactory gas flows, NE!
We'll have all this to go through again and again etc!
Are we going to make a nice profit or is it going to be a life changer (as Mamba , Boomslang go through the same process, and more generators come on line). If TLOU keep the costs under control, and they are determined so to do from what I see, then it will be worth, in truth, a very short few years compared to some miners.

I hope you (NE and Chukkers) are not getting belligerent over nothing.

We clearly have a huge asset in gas , but we are going to use the gas to produce electricity as our major income.
Electricity only needs to get to Serowe to open up the whole of the southern african markets. To sell gas would mean building pipelines or other means of moving it.
We obviously are not selling the Selemo electricity to ourselves, but it is saving us the cost of diesel to generaste it , or the price of buying power.
As to Lesedi, the gas is an asset that we won't realise until it generates electricity.
An analogy would be having the Victoria falls as an asset to produce hydro-electricity. They would never decide to sell water, would they?

My credit card was not charged the £2.50.
I cannot use my card to buy petrol at Tesco or Asda , card is declined , but inside the food stores it is fine.
So despite being a Mastercard it isn't fully accepted as one. Cashier said the petrol card machines are on different networks to those in the stores?
Low profit margins in the petrol war presumably preclude them paying whatever handling charges Tandem make?
But I can fund my stockbrokers for free and get cashback - that makes up for the petrol stations! A minimum of 2 month interest free deposits, it is no wonder they don't offer me a higher credit limit! I am repaying early to give myself credit for everyday items. Should I just let it max out and stop using it? Perhaps they'll raise the limit then?
I phoned when I was paying for my bike repairs and then said they could not do it at the customer's request - but it would be reviewed after 6 months!

If #3 is promising then what is #4? If the stock exchange was a bookmaker I reckon they'd not accept bets on TLOU (purchase of shares). It is 1st Sept so let's see if they have moved road tax from 1st Sept! Cheers!

I have paid road tax on my Triumph for the whole month (Aug 1st to end of next July), despite selling it on Thursday.
My 'new' bike road tax application at 11:15 pm , so 45 minutes of the whole month left, would start from 1st AUGUST ......

So they'll take Thurs, Frid and Saturday's road tax from me without any qualms - and tell me to call them if I don't receive Sept and onwards refund within the next 4 weeks ----- BUT don't allow me only 45 minutes grace on my replacement vehicle. It stinks!

10th July, what 6 weeks ago?
A short-term gas flow test at Lesedi 3 took place after a significant gas pressure build-up inside the well casing. The result of this test is considered by the Company to represent a positive indication of the pod's potential. Post the short-term test, dewatering has continued with the plan to hold the water level just above the coal and continue to draw down pressure in the well allowing gas to flow in a controlled manner, ideally leading to a long-term gas flow from the Lesedi 3 pod.

At the time of writing, a stabilised gas flow from Lesedi 3 and Lesedi 4 has been achieved. It is anticipated that, based on industry norms, the stabilised gas flow from the Lesedi wells should increase with time until a peak is reached.

PPA negotiations with the government are progressing and will remain confidential until the government is in a position to make an announcement.
If everything goes according to plan, shareholders can look forward to further gas flow rate updates from Lesedi 3 & 4, drilling at the Mamba project area, finalisation of the PPA, agreement of a development financing package potentially from Botswana based investors or debt financiers, seismic acquisition, an anticipated gas Reserve upgrade and commencement of the downstream power generation development.

Now do you see why I despair - if I wanted TG to tell us we are backing a certainty, I cannot imagine a better couple of statements. I have quoted several third parties who say CBM flows starts slow or not at all, but build with time to a peak after the water diminishes. TG's , "industry norm" is therefore confirmed confirmed.
We have certified levels at Lesedi of 3.2 trillion cu ft.
I do not understand any of the fears on here , as I have said before TG ha given us timings that have not materialised but anybody who believed that they were definite timings is living in a dream world. But the alternative was to say what none of you want to hear - the project is on schedule given nobody in this world knows how long the dewatering and, IF NECESSARY, pressurising the gas to make it flow, will take.

I'm doing my best to allay your fears BTS, because the trolls are wimnning for no good reason. All they csn do is say TG is stalling because he is a con man. If they truly believed that they would not be here would they? They have to be trying to drop the price on a good thing! There is a chance TG is conning us of course - I am betting that he is not!

We are patiently awaiting the gas flows, NE. Until they are known TLOU cannot tell us anything with certainty.
They have deliberately kept the water levels above the level of the coal to regulate the flow.
We don't want a Tsunami of gas killing our miners do we?
There is potentially at least 3.2 trillion cu ft of gas capable of making that Tsunai.

imho it is impossible that none of it will escape, and equally probable for all of it to escape too.
If there isn't enough to power a poxy 2MW generator I'll be amazed. Just keep your knickers on or off in the meantime, and enjoy the wait.

I met up with my parents for dinner at a pub , and two their friends tagged on!
Told My Dad no#1 son had finished hos first week at school and the taught him how to write.
He could write literally anything, sonnets, novels, essays etc!
I asked what he;d written and he said they had not taught to read yet!

But the wife of the other couple said "that is just typical of schools today" and left us all speechless!
The story was clearly a joke , but the rest was a true story - so embarrassing! Her hubby never realised it was a joke either.
He was the only one who could have put her right. Never seen my Dad speechless until then.

My other favourite was a Mum takes her 4 year old sold onto a bus.
Free for less than 4, she tells her son to tell the driver he is 3 is he asks!
Inevitably, "How old are you sonny" and the agreed answer "3".
"And when will you be 4?" and the answer "as soon as I get off this bus!".
