If Kala do not succeed and TLOU are left to go it alone as a company which is supplying CBM power to Serowe it will still be classed as Green energy afaics. I'm unsure how Green Kala will be but it is only Hydrogen that looks to be the exception at Pilot.

Kala look prepared to lend TLOU millions , in the expectation that they are going to produce a healthy return from our gas, and land to build an AI village, town or city of mobile units or maybe even permanent ones subject to planning. The land can also accommodate Solar panels to supplement or lead electricity production for their Data Centre. It will have cost them SFA to get all this for 40+ years???

Trillions of cu ft of gas waiting to be used , and all they have to is fund TLOU with a few million dollars that are a very low percentage of their billions of dollars budget??

And how much gas did they expect to be available for that expense?

It is so obvious that TLOU is invaluable to them. It will cost them half their profits on what they earn from our gas or electricity production for them. I am interested to know if Kala will share earnings from their own solar cells?? Or will they pay TLOU for the use of the land occupied by their cells? Assuming Kala have a right to install solar themselves which I dunno? And whose decision is that? Tlou or the Ministries of Botswana or both jointly.

If Tlou get to keep the earnings from their PPA that bit of their business is literally what we invested in? So what have we lost? A variable portion of our gas or electricity (CBM or Solar) to Kala BUT ONLY IF THAT ROUTE IS MORE PROFITABLE THAN OUR PPA'S.

The alternative is the TLU we wanted for all those years!

Kala are investing millions interest free and taking repayments from TLOU's share of KALA's PROFITS so TLOU need not worry about them. That is one view (including mine) of TLOU's value.

And then there are the folks who will not invest at the current share price of about 1.8c or less than 1p in the UK???? The saying comes back to mind.

Their reasoning is it has taken 10-15 years to earn nothing. In all those years we were not connected to the grid. So producing electricity was a waste of time and money??

Kala challenged us to provide what we could early last year - and Tlou met the challenge on all counts. In March we got the deal of a lifetime. We await delivery to Kala (or TLOU?) of the first two generators, paid for by Kala in advance. The delivery is late so nobody wants TLOU shares because of that delay? With unlimited funds at zero cost I'm betting the gas will be flowing in 2026 and before then the grid connection will be completed now it is needed.

Botswana may close up but I suspect Kala may not? Kala rule the roost not BPC.

i am trying to group my emails for easier access.

i started with bike insurance which was called bennetts but i have switched to express.

express appeared utf the blue and beat my other quotes handsomely with no claims protection , fully comp etc and even cover to carry a pillion. at £94 it was a no brainer?

when i paid the premier my bank said gave me the option to return to, not express but carole nash a well respected insurer for decades and i was over the moon!

sorting my quotes under "bike insurance" , carole nash popped up @ £391 , nearly £300 more , so how on earth does that work?

i ran out of dog food yesterday , and took the berlingo out to lidl , my first trip out of the house. the hip was as good as could be - comfortable and the brake pedal caused no pain. we have west ham coming up after the international break so i'll be able to use my ticket. i only missed one game (but watched on a stream) , so the nhs has done me proud. still have a catheter while they monitor my chronic kidney failure so ****ing my leg over the bike is out of the question but you'd not know i have one if i use the car. i feel as though i am walking unaided quite normally. going to take poppy out later and try to get her house trained again.

Not really a non-starter , mfm.

I thought they produced Blue Hydrogen with their lance but Tlou declared that to be unacceptable to a Green Energy company that had been fined for overstating their Greed credentials.

Synergen's response was that a Green version could be available within 6 month - that was a definite non-starter - and not much longer than 6 months later the vaccines appeared, lockdowns were eased , and Tlou could resume visits from Australia and get Lesedi back on course - with CBM electricity , not Hydrogen.

With funding issues to sort out and mothballed wells to re-open it was not going to be quick. Then Kala resurrected their plans for Crypto and/or AI. #6 had been opened using new techniques that improved gas and water flows I think, #4 was modified to benefit from #6 technique and clearly Kala were keen to prove that the pair of wells could satisfy their early demands with sustainable gas flows. Tlou did that, the revised plan for TLOU funding was hatched ,and that was back in March. 8 months ago!!

This coming March will complete the partnership's first year. And what a year it will have been if we are delivering electricity to Serowe as phase 1 of the PPA. I await news of the #4 and #6 plans and other wells.

Will Kala be delaying the PPA in favour of High Power Computing , which is more profitable than the PPA.

If so those profits may accelerate new wells or expansions of existing wells. 2026 is getting ever closer so e don't have long to wait to see what transpires.

You don't seem to have grasped the nettle with Syn Met, Donkey.

When they appeared on the scene, TLOU et al were all suffering lockdowns and were closing everything down to affordable levels of maintenance. An impossible task because nobody knew how long a vaccine was going to take.

Lesedi was sat there doing nothing much but SYN Met wanted the opportunity to try and produce Hydrogen using their own lances. TG entered into a non binding agreement with S-M for the unknown shutdown period. Lockdowns were eased and TLOU regained control of Lesedi. S-M relocated testing to Brisbane, supported I think by TLOU CBM in some form .

In that time S-M did not demonstrate Green Hydrogen capabilities but thought 6 months was long enough to change their lance from BLUE to GREEN hydrogen. That proved impossible and years later it seems to be still out of reach. It was worth a shot and the cost to TLOU intime and money was almost negligible.

Kala might be another red herring but the signs are positive imho. Their incredibly generous agreement makes as much sense as any AI venture to me. But it is the scale of an AI venture that sways me. Everything points to humungous budgets that won't be a problem to get Lesedi up and running. A few millions here and there will be petty cash to Kala. If this is a sham it is a pretty clever one with little or no rewards afaics.

TLOU and Kala look to be made for each other. Is TLOU CBM to electricity high on Kala's agenda? I am unconvinced - I still think Solar might turn out to be the big money earner. CBM electricity will reduce their dependence upon battery storage long term and Lesedi's trillions of cu ft of CBM can backup Solar for decades once 24/7 operational.

As for TG , I suspect there are very few CEO who have been able to stand down, leave their investment intact, and feel as safe as I feel about this one. If AI dies after all the hype, TLOU will still have their original goals left to achieve. They will be 100% of the business instead of a minor percentage of a global AI concern. TG can be proud of himself.

Until recently my left leg , with has blocked arteries from the knee to the ankle. following an aneurysm in the popliteal artery behind the knee, was my weaker leg! Several areas in the Femoral artery remain blocked 6 years on, the popliteal artery has been cut off or stitched up like a Lesedi well, and I have one inverted vein acting as an artery from my left groin to my left ankle. I have equine foot in that left foot- so I cannot change gears on a Triumph motorbike with the precision necessary to find neutral!!!

I exchanged the Triumph for an Aprilia with DCT (double clutch transmission otherwise known as an automatic or twist and go) so I do not need the left leg to drive.

My right leg operates the rear brake , and my throttle hand controls the speed and front brake.

On October 12th I tripped and broke my right hip which was replaced on the NHS within 24 hours.

Believe it or not , I thought of my left leg as my better leg and will do so until the cartilage and muscles in the right hip grow stronger to protect the new hip from dislocation. 3 months ought to do it so until it happens I must keep my right knee at more than 90 degrees (raised toilet seat , armchair and lots of caution).

Whether I am going to be able to ride the bike again is up in the air. I'll need to balance on the left leg whilst swinging my right leg over a 31 inch high bikeseat and avoiding a topbox. The pain killers stopped my bowels and bladder from working for over 3 weeks and 4 days respectively. I had a catheter fitted and it drained at least 3.6 litres from my 1 litre bladder. Tests showed kidney failure despite me feeling obvious relief. They say once you feel poorly from kidney failure it can be too late to treat it! I was in intensive care back in 2019 for a couple of days with suspected kidney failure. And they have been a concern to medics ever since.

TG was boss throughout this whole period and I don't blame him for any of it! So how do you manage to Donkey? Circumstances change!

We were on target to produce gas cylinders in mid 2010's. The revised plan to supply turn key eletricity to Serowe was a much bigger ball game but that looked on course until Covid stopped it. After Covid we were recovering slowly from lack of funds and an unwillingness to risk huge debts, but TG looked to be managing.

And then Kala answered all our dreams by funding us to supply a similar gas stream as was planned back in 2015-2018. Kala wanted proof we could create a constant flow of gas, TLOU passed with flying colours and TLOU look in good shape to expand the production of gas or electricity or solar.

Expanding wells was always go to be the bread and butter exercise once TLOU were operational.

I never spotted any BS along the way.

During TG's reign I suspect if Kala had ordered a couple of modest generators, they'd have been delivered on time or the delay would have been minimal, especially because Kala paid for them in advance afaik.

Recognising Trump's tariffs and changes to custom regulations NOW does not mean history has changed! England are still 1866 World Champions, TG's plans were still sensible at the times they were current.

Kala are being hindered and TLOU consequently suffer from that. I have no doubt Kala will survive a few days,weeks or months delays and there is every chance they will be boosting TLOU in 2025 or early 2026.

Trumps tariffs are probably responsible for shipping delays. The various tariffs from 0% to 500% that he pulls out of the hat for China (and Russia) almost surely affect the generators on order. I expect they have various components assembled from several countries on Trumps kicking list.

I am not a million miles from being right. Solar is very much in focus , and the CBM generators are very much still in play. LSE was good at keeping us up to date - shame we no longer get their coverage which Ithink many of us relied upon.

Feeling good today - what do TLOU think REPORTS and NEWS convey as headlines?

I have rarely used their pages because I hate seeing the same page every time I look - and they rarely change.

Ripley as you are very unlikely to have an ISA account with that custodian (in which case you would not have this problem). Imho there is no chance of them being in an ISA account.

If I were you, I'd investigate the costs of opening an ISA account which allows ASX shares to be held and traded and if your ISA allowance for 2025/6 is enough , transfer them from the custodian. If you are lucky, that custodian might be the ideal broker but check custodial , and dealing charges are reasonable. You don't want to be be paying £30 or more per transaction like some charge.

Do it while the SP is still around 2c and you won't have made a profit to tax on a non-ISA holding.

I like this idea better still. Currently we have estimated gas supplies that will last 40yrs on the original course.

Ifwe use it to supplement Solar overnight for 24/7 electricity then that 40 years could rise enormously to well over 100 years? The cost of panels prohibited this solution but that may be less of a problem now.

And new innovations for power will come along I expect. TLOU's main asset is starting to look like the Solar platform their land rights as much as the gas.

What would we expect to hear from whom , should Kala decide that the fastest road to riches for the next x months is to for solar? We know that is not 24/7 but it will give them some ticks on the critical path and provide a daytime platform to use. And the MW will be fairly predictable. More MW ? More panels!

After x months , at the latest (if it cannot be done in parallel - which seems unlikely), then the CBM to electricity will supplement solar instead of the other way round. CBM will effectively lengthen the operational day up to 24/7 eventually. Thinking about it - was this a better plan?

It prioritises electricity supplies in daylight hours i.e. industries that close at night.

Battery storage from sunset to bedtime for the private homes may be cost effective compared to full 24/7 battery availability. And from day break the batteries will possibly be charging in time for breakfast while the sun rises.

Kala probably have the original plan under control and have not confirmed that but at least it got my mind of faeces etc for a few minutes.

Healthwise I am , at last , regaining control of my body and can hopefully eat and drink normally.

The hip, touch wood, has not been a problem. Though the painkillers closed down my alimentary canal for 3 weeks, and my water works for 3 or 4 days.

And tummy jab - a new box hence I found the Senna. Got my Chelsea ticket - almost all sold in my blocks 2 hours after sales opened - and I need to make a bank transfer to my gardener.
