RE: They are all at it now11 Oct 2025 10:06
Good historical account Winni but it does not consider our increased potential since the Autumn advance.
Flow rates, lack of working capital , board changes and financial risk problems remain but not for the indefinite future as before.
The first two go hand in glove, without the cash we won't improve flow rates signficantly quickly, and, without commercial flow rates, obtaining the cash was problematic and likely to be expensive. We have relied on our two major shareholders so far , and they have obliged. The Doc underwriting placings has tested him to the limit and he could and should not be expected to do that forever.
He desisted from even participating in our last placing, far less underwrite it.
We disagree why!
I reckon that the Kala proposals were on the table , subject to a trial in early 2025 to demonstrate that TLOU could live up to their claims for CBM production. TLOU passed with flying colours and within a month of the trial , Kala committed themselves to a partnership with TLOU for a minimum of 5 years.
If Kala honour that agreement, then our fund raising is sorted for 5 years, the Doc and Pension Fund can relax and so can we. We only have to supply Kala with gas for their Data Centre and generate some onsite electricity for Lesedi. Whether Selemo is still providing the latter I dunno , but it was saving us money on diesel purchases yonks ago, so not an issue.
Our funding is interest free so the repayment period is not a worry. And repayments are coming from our share of Kala's profits on their Data Centre. Utopia , for all concerned at TLOU. TG can take time off, Doc can replace him and put his computer knowledge to work in TLOU's best interests, and funding is sorted! So what can go wrong?
Kala could fail , and we'd be back here we were in November. Utopia chase will have cost us a year or maybe more , but Winni's scenario would be very much alive.
When they call it a day will be critical? It is conceivable that TLOU will be fully operational with BPC receiving power at Serowe and TLOU promising more when Lesedi #7+ is complete.
That , for me , is the most likely outcome if Kala are a bona fide outfit. We'll find that out pretty soon!
I see no reason to doubt Kala. What would be in it for them to hoax??? They have paid in advance for generators would a hoaxer do that or lie?
We won't agree on the TLOU share prices Winni until one of is proved right. We'll have a good idea by Xmas when I hope the small print on interest free loans will show what we can expect.
