Py, I suspect it could be the dates that we agree to deliver on? I cannot see the value of a PPA that is open-ended delivery wise, and nobody knows for what delivery dates are possible, far less probable, and even less , certain!

"I promise to pay you £100" is a useless IOU without a "by date"?
A PPA would be the same.

And from there , what use would it be to BDC for the funding?

It pleased me that TG's belief that Mr Moagi is wholly behind us is extremely likely to be true.

I have a few other lesser articles that I never posted. Everything I read supports TG's philosophy on phased production and everything else.

MM is in a world of his own, along with his merry followers , not one word about every topic under the sun (on power in Botswana) in that article - and MM still concentrates on the solar aspects. "in ground" is close to recognising CBM's importance but he and Donk are the same - so far up their own backsides their heads are coming out of their mouths!

Neither saw anything worth commenting on - it is unbelievable!

I don't understand the climb except there are so many shares that are vulnerable to Covid policy. In comparison TLOU is relatively stable , nothing much has changed and we are still as likely to succeed as we were before Covid imho.
The timing has been affected for sure, but we never knew the timings in the first place!

I take issue with [4], which estimates the cost of CBM as 1.2 USD to 1.6USD per kw/h!
TG has made it clear that TLOU expect to receive up to 30c (not sure if he meant AUD or USD) a quarter or even less than [4]. One of the attractions to Botswana was in Australian , he expected only 10-12c per unit plus excessive red tape which has arisen since his previous successes at Arrow and Sunshine down under.

There are too many interesting points throughout the article to do a precis - please read it!
It puts solar into perspective from a neutral point of view imho.

There is one person on here who might issue a Strong Buy and point out the company are contemplating a share price of over 50c to reach $300m , because of the clause above, and he'd get 5 or 6 ticks!

Just pointing out how to make a purse out of a sow's ear - but TLOU are adding authorisation of 10% (roughly 50M shares) under ASX rules if this gets through the AGM. Hopefully contingency rather than an intention? 3 directors up for re-election too.

I see we are declared to be a gas and solar explorer and developer in the notice for the AGM, so solar might be discussed at length. It will be nice to know how important solar is officially. I do worry that it could open the flood gates for other companies if we demonstrate Solar is easy to get off the ground.

My1, we seem think as one for once.
I don't look at ADVFN posts very often, and respond rarely nowadays, but their record of trading figures is much more dependable than LSE haphazard displays. ADVFN have a policy of logging people out on a Sunday so you need to log back in to see the trades. That break in routine is enough to let the posts catch my eye, especially if someone new posts over there.

Mr Moagi's introduction to the summit was heavily edited to cut out any pauses which imho did him no favours and made it pretty boring. It also cast doubts over what else was edited out?

The uncrossing trades issue has not generated one reply - I thought someone would have a view on what possible use an uncrossing trades of £1.50 or £2 is? 50 or 60 shares removed from the book is such a non event for any company far less one that has a share price of 3p.

Nobody has admitted to buying back up in after selling out following the lack of support for the board on here - too embarrassed I suppose? Less than a week to the AGM - busy week for my portfolio, HL have theirs tomorrow, time to see the Good, Bad, and the Ugly again?

They are £millions of course, and refer to TG's latest version of Phase 1.
Phase 2 is expected to be much more costly.

I mentioned it for Donk's benefit because he questioned why TG did not fund Phase 1 himself - ignoring the fact that TG is looking for a long term partner for all our expansions, so it would be counter productive.

He has also picked up, correctly for once , that at the African Summit 2020, Mr Moagi neglected to mention CBM by name.

I found his introduction but my rose coloured specs heard "coal" and solar to mean coal related , and taking it further, green energy from coal is of course CBM. So it does not mean he's forgotten about CBM, imho.

Bit of a gabble , reminding me of Eric Molale tbh , with much emphasis on diamond trade.

I did pick out his remarks about exporting minerals and with that potential jobs to other countries.
CBM is definitely in-house producing home grown jobs.

It disappeared, but at 9am there was a UT for 3.7p (top of spread) worth £1.8k, so thingsare looking up. LSE is a bit strange how it displays trade?

Well, Zak's 3.5p has been surpassed and those pesky UT are finally within the spread!
Why oh why they need an auction for trades amounting to £8.50 is still mystifying but at least they are not damaging us as much as they were last week.

The resistance at 1.75p is gone, will Zak be right? 5.5p by end of November?
Depends upon the AGM I dare say. Will solar be lauded as MM suggests/hopes, will the tenders for the transmission lines be cheaper than expected? Is BDC nearer to funding us? I think that is the big item , fingers crossed!

I guess the £3-£5 is not as much of an issue as the inference that they'll be partners for the long term when the loans needed will be much higher in the first expansion at least. We want that long term relationship , otherwise TG could find the cash himself no doubt , but do the Govt need to sort out BPC first?

Got a text from my free L2 provider today.
Apparently I did not meet their requirements to be given access to L2 data.
That plus paying a subscription to each exchange is a turn-off for me!
It was with IG, and they only give you DMA indirectly i.e. they open a CFD position for you with them!

I was unlikely to use DMA until I was fully familiar with L2 and I don't have a CFD account, just a share-trading a/c with L1. They make their money on CFD's I believe - so they want out and out gamblers maybe.

May as well uninstall L2 - it isn't user friendly, is a stand alone executable which does not run under a browser (so no autofill user/passw) and each display is independent so very messy.

Quote price of 3p is still showing - I guess it was always higher.

Fixed quote was 3p so I thought I'd have a bit of that!
Trial and error to get the cost as close to my balance as possible, and it did not make sense, until I realised the fixed quote had risen to 3.448p :O)

Only UTs are 3p or under!

Boo, on LSE could only find the options (8c on ASX) for TLOU, so I switched to HL, and got the same message - need to subscribe! I'm glad it is free I'd be very peeved if I'd paid for it.

Still have a bee in my bonnet about the frequency of UT and the stupidly low volumes being traded that makes me question wtf is going on.

Used L2 last night on ASX and was a bit cheesed when I got an automatic message to say I needed to pay an ASX subscription to view trading info!
I expected to pay one if I used DMA but assumed it would be free to window shop?

You have to phone to get the price, and I wasn't keen to show my ignorance if they asked me any searching questions :O(
I only want to see if I can spot who is behind these pesky UT trades which are holding the price back!

I'm going to see how it reacts to LSE now ..... fingers crossed I have more success than last night.

MM is obsessed, why does he talk solar so much? He seems to have L2 as a Premium member and is paying through the nose for that privilege and being able to influence what posts are removed! I think everybody on here is fully aware of solar, and each will have his own thoughts on how important it is and when it will surface (like a submarine). We disagree, I'm with Jules Verne ( 20,000 leagues under the sea) but MM has fathomed it out differently it seems.

As long as CBM is a success I rate solar alongside further CBM pods and generators for the future of TLOU.

Quite pleased with myself, found L2 for free - it is so expensive through this site!
Not getting far with it because all the markets are closed that I need.

It does support L1 so I saw my HL dividend has been received , £500 real cash for a few thousand in paper losses, will be ok once the price recovers (or another dividend or 10 occur).

In researching L2 , I came across "pump and dump" that Whizzer is so fond of. But the opposite of pump and dump describes Whizzer's attitude perfectly ..... "trash and cash" !
Another name for it is "short and distort"! Part of the etiquette for L2 users is agreeing to do neither.

I'm not suggesting Whizzer is a shorter (there are none according to this site) but his attitude to the board is commensurate with "trash and cash"! I put it down to frustration in his case. I'm sure he wants us to succeed (as he states on those days that he grits his teeth).
