Just announced it is hiking the price of its standard variable tariff blaming rising wholesale costs...

It's not as if AST finds itself in the wrong sector in terms of the commodity it sells! The value of the asset is huge and this impasse with ARSO is crazy. The tax revenue that could be generated for the Slovenia and employment for local people surely have to swing it in favour of granting the permits?

I think Colin must have invented the word "apathy" as it's the perfect description of him right now.

I had another read of the RNS. Yes it’s not pretty reading, but I still think several positive outcomes are possible from the SR. Still time for good things to happen and importantly we are opening up a dialogue with the authorities in Slovenia on permitting. I think it’s time for Colin to walk.

It's clear being Mr Nice Guy and the softly softly approach hasn't worked for Colin in getting anywhere with ARSO. This is the first time that direct pressure from PI's with real skin in the game has been applied to ARSO (albeit indirectly). I am pleased that the consulate is speaking on our behalf tomorrow and she has recognised the criticality of the situation.

Volume petered off towards the end tbh.

Fingers crossed we get some real progress in tomorrow's meeting and the consulate updates us afterwards. Agree it's shocking that it's up to PI's with substantial investments in the company to get things moving when the company is on its knees. Colin's apathy is even more shocking.
