I’m curious what will happen to the SP on the permits being awarded. Say, for example, this happens intra-day, do the MM’s just mark it up instantly or will people have to buy shares for the SP to rise? We’ve all seen periods where there’s been lots of buying but the MM’s don’t raise the SP at all. So surely there has to be some manual intervention in the MM’s pricing systems for the SP to go crazy high?

I would absolutely love to work in a market maker for a while to see how shares are priced and how they decide to price a share on news, both good and bad news. Must be fascinating and give you a great insight as a trader working in the market.

I think most people are in paper loss here. But the difference is those who are prepared to hold a share through long periods of a low SP in a calm and collected way and those who are literally blowing their top off, bad-mouthing the BOD and being offensive to other holders on here. I think that largely comes down to research and not having gambled the house on a share, but seeing the longer-term picture and taking advantage of the low SP to buy more shares and reduce your average.

Scott, I don’t understand the Russian connection/interference you allege. How does that work if the Ministry of Infrastructure is amenable to our case and actually wants AST to produce gas? Isn’t this just a hangover from Jure Leben? Now the flaws in ARSO’s request for an EIA have been exposed, surely legally they don’t have a leg to stand on now?

Well said Stockdale. People often forget the value of proven gas the company has. Once this erroneous decision of ARSO for an EIA is rightly overruled then it’s game on.

Imagine if the permits arrived tomorrow selling that many shares today. I hope this chap can refrain from checking in on this share now going forward.

All Colin ever did wrong was to believe that ARSO were going to grant the permits. He had no reason to suspect otherwise. It must be frustratingly difficult for Colin when government departments don’t follow their own law and procedure. He has my total support and sympathy right now.

Have ARSO even referenced their previous decision re the EIA in the Decision last week? Seems like a fragrant disregard for due process and the rule of law.

Kelsbels, yes maybe. But bringing a claim doesn’t preclude the possibility of parties settling matters outside court does it?

It’s great we know ‘officially’ where ARSO stands. Without this Decision it would have been harder to bring a legal claim. Time to move on with the legal action now and get things moving.

I think we’ve been reasonable enough now. Time to up the antics with a judicial review or whatever the Slovenian equivalent is. Sounds like legal action is inevitable.

Ray1234, it’s abhorrent what you are suggesting. So basically you’re saying there is no rule of law in Slovenia? How can Slovenia even call itself a member state of the EU in that case? Complete madness what we’re seeing here. I hope there is justice for AST and its long-suffering shareholders soon!
