You are showing your naivety again. You need to understand the impact of royalty financing on the whole of project economics. You'll soon see why the company won't secure deals for much more than it has (on the gold anyway).

The royalty on the gold was needed to show we are financed into the construction phase. Any deal on the copper needs to wait until the supply deficit comes into view and the price starts moving upwards again.

In reality we're talking about a financing from 5+ years ago, from long before the merger with Cornerstone where frankly SolGold was a different company with a markedly different issued share capital.

What's evident right now is there's a few desperate to ramp this, probably to close out a short term trade. This board has therefore become a poor running commentary of the share price. It's nothing new but it's as tedious as always.

No chance of £2-3 even in production. That puts us at £6-9bn market cap assuming no further dilution whatsoever,which is unlikely.

Same applies to a 20p pa dividend. At a typical 5% yield that places an SP of £4 on the company.

Just think what EBITDA will be needed to support that valuation. £2bn minimum. Probably closer to £4bn.

The production profile just doesn't stack up even with higher spot prices than we are now.

I'd be revising SP down to 60p (+/- 50%) and an annual divi of about 5p.

You have to understand the story here BSR. A bid for the company has been the clear favourite in terms of providing a return to investors, therefore any quote about us not being mine builders is used to peddle that theory.

We're mine builders until someone pays us enough for us to pass the asset on. But first, we need environmental permits and we need to acquire land for mine infrastructure and access.

The question for investors and prospective investors is whether SolGold is going to meet these milestones. The current direction of travel suggests we have a good chance and that makes the current valuation a cheap one.

SolGold's deal this week gives a funding runway right through to construction provided conditions are met.

Moreso, there are no individuals in management motivated to their own ends as was the case with Sirius. The founder shareholders have personal, trust and corporate holdings. Our legacy partners have large holdings and want a return. Our major miner partners have an interest in the future of the project.

The funding announced Monday diverges SolGold from Sirius Minerals. That doesn't mean it's jam today because it's not, but it's a viable candidate again on a value investing thesis over a timeframe of 1-3 years.
