I was thinking it may be time to jump back in with the price dropping below 1.3, but to be honest I think the ship is sinking too fast.

Ther 'MAY' be a profit to take in the very short term 'IF' GL and ANGS can establish Gas revenue very quickly AND at a decent flow rate. But as you point out, the future is seriously fraught with financial failure.

And, as HIT points out, the Hedge costs and sheer dependency on a Sidetrack (which even now looks like it won't be ready by end of OCT at best) is cause to stay away.

So good luck to those who want to risk it for a short-term rise. but I'll stick to taking between my 1%-5% average per week on more 'reliable' predictions.

GL is happy to report that ANGS have finally established a credible Gas flow.

However, for reasons beyond their (ANGS) control, all work has had to be stopped due to flooding.

Apparently GL is FURIOUS with the Weather people for failing to provide adequate warning that anything from 0.1mm to 1mm of rain per day was imminent. This has caused surfaces in and around the site to become slippy under foot and resulted in shortdown of the plant due to some 'further' minore slip ups expeerienced by GL and his band of dispondent workers.

GL has stated that work will recommence once a period of 3 days of further draught is experienced to enable GL and his cohorts to feel less like proper 'Drips'.

The Trools are out in force today I see ha ha ha

Lemonmould: ANGS can switch on as many wells as they like........... It doesn't make a jot to the fact that the likes of you have been hanging on to GL' skirt for soooooo long like long lost children.... begging for a crumb here and there.

Oh by the way..... it's NOT the number of wells that makes or breaks ANGS..... it's the ability to extract and deliver the revenue quality gas. Hence the reason why ANGS is still in financial trouble.....

AKA......... Compressor capabilities.. won't allow them to "Catch Up" with their financial obligations until .....

1) A successful Sidetrack and completed and delivering consistent, decent flow rate, AND
2) ANGS install sufficient Compressor capabilities.

So, all in all, ANGS is still in an UTTER FINANCIAL MESS.... it's Mid-August..... and still no gas.... apart from what comes out of GL ha ha ha

The fact that ANGS 'may' get Gas revenue (eventually) doesn't make you or your cronies or your Aliases right at any time in the past, present or future.

As for ANGS releasing any form of news, its become clear now that GL now knows that his so-called reputation is utterly and completely shot to hell. Hence why he mitigated his Twitter posts etc. Twitter posts I may add which provide absolutely nothing towards proving they are capable of achieving anything either on time or competently.

Worse of all......... STILL NO NEWS WHATSOEVER ABOUT IF/WHEN this super-duper Sidetrack is even going to begin.

So my prediction is that ANGS is now in severe financial trouble and won't be able to fulfil any financial obligations until mid or even late 2023.... if at all.

Expect a new fund-raising round to seriously dilute the SP .... yet again.

GMCC: I can't find the Avacta/PB license agreement you refer to however I would point out that the license agreement you state only refers to "radiopharmaceutical" related technology.

If you look on the Sofie presentation slide and search for AVACTA you will come to a page which clearly marks...

under "Non-Radiopharmaceuticals". And so the license agreement you refer too (given the wording) would NOT provide Sofie with any licensing or usage rights of AVA6000.

What ANGS appear to be incapable of doing is actually testing things as and when they are installed then integrating things is a professional, consistent, relaible manner.

What an utter load of crud!

The fact is that government officials will do ANYTHING to get themselves noticed, especailly with the turmoil the Conservative party is currently in and the likely prospect of serious political seat-seeking to go on in future elections etc.

The import of Pellets by the likes of Drax will continue for a number of very good reasons. Firstly the UK does not have the capability to generate any fuel-burning resources except Coal/Oil.

Wood is "Replenishable" although I admit it would be better if the UK government "turned over" a largr proportion of brown-land to Sustainable Wood harvesting.

The big problem is that the UK seems incapable of producing 'home-grown' resources/consumables at prices comparable or better than Imported items - which is astonishing given the lack of need for major inter-continental transportation costs etc. But it is what it is.

The biggest issue is that there is NO WAY (other than proposed renewables) that the UK can maintain Enrgy Capabilities without at least importing resources for the near-term. So DRAX will continue to be profitable for the next 5-10 years.

At some point DRAX will need to "Diversify" faster. And the easiest way for DRAX to do that is through ACQUISITION.

So the likes of the smaller renewables such as TRIG, FSFL, UKW etc will become acqisition prospects in the next decade.

So, I say that government Leechers should keep their self-promoting gobs SHUT!

I also think people are missing the point.

A windfall tax on likes of DRAX isn't doom and gloom. Their Pr-tax profit for H1 2022 waas just on 4 Times that of H1 2021.

It won't actually break or push Drax into any form of loss whatsoever.

In fact (imho) , DRAX can still afford to pay any windfall tax and pay the interim 15+ dividend at end of month, yet still be in healthy profit next year.

Any request by the government to continue or increase electrical generation will only make Drax more future-proofed (imho).

So I'm viewing the knee-jerk drop today as great buying opportunity :-)

I'm hoping the energy firms will stand firm and tell SINak to mind his own greedy business.

I suspect the meeting is more than just about what the government can 'skim' off companies but also covers "Energy Security" for the next 6-12 months.

A possible outcome will be that DRAX is asked to keep Coal-powered Generators going longer to cover Ukraine dispute.

The BT Financial Diary on LSE says the Ex-Div date is today (03-Aug) but the Dividend Data website (https://www.dividenddata.co.uk/) says its the 04-Aug.

Yanis: you and others are just NOT reading the RNS properly. It says...

"...As a precautionary measure, the Company has worked with its hedge provider to roll a portion of the Q3 2022 hedge into Q1 and Q2 of 2023."

In other words. There is STILL an "unknown" PROPORTION of the hedge for Q3 and Q4 that HAS to be paid by ANGS.

This most likely is due not only to the large delay in generating any revenue AT ALL.... but ANG will now have an even LARGER hedge to support in Q1 & Q2 than they originally did.

So... what this means is.... (as HITS as always stated correctly) there is EVEN MORE reliance on a successful Side Track... which hasn't even started.

Note: from all accounts ANGS doesn't actualky have sufficient Compressor capability as yet to push the 'COMBINED GAS FLOW RATE" to a level to support the increased Q1 & Q2 hedge requirements alone.

EVEN WORSE, if there is any failure or degradation in Compressor capability or damage due to pushing the flow rates too much then its also game over.
.ANGS needs to install more Compressors. Not only to increase capability but to SERIOUSLY provide FAULT TOLERANCE CAPABILITIES.

The Side Track won't even start until WEEKS after revenue gas is flowing ( note my reference to 'revenue').

So end of August or later before even starting Side Track. Even if they start next week they are still lokking at end of October (minimum) before any possible Side Track gas.

By then they will be at LEAST 50% behind Hedge gas requirements for Aug & Sept and a full month for July.

So at Least 2 months behind for covering any hedge requirements.

Yet.... they will 'somehow' have to gain an EXTRA 2 months+ of additional gas to repay the hedge debt.

I'd say ANGS is in dire trouble.

And I predict ANGS will push for new share issue in Oct/Nov (if not sooner).

GL will 'proclaim' that it's to cover short-term 'regulatory' requirement but probably throw in a so-called "Carrot" about 'Alternative" energy/investment strategies.... which is just another way of saying... "give us your money so the BOD can conitnue to pay themselves lots of lovely money".

ANGS will still OWE the hedge payments for July onwards. The 'payments' are only being delayed!

So, ANGS are still one month behind in gas revenue and likeky will be 1.5 to 2 months behind.

Even worse.... the Side Track hasn't even STARTED.

IT'LL BE A MINIMUM 50 DAYS AT BEST ( GL words) before it'll even POSSIBLY be opened up.

So no possible Side Track revenue (if at all) until end of OCTOBER.

So at least 1 month further delay on side track.
