Very good move by ECR, now they own some considerable assets, two drill rigs and a 16 acre operational base right in the middle of their flagship license area in Victoria. This takes a lot of delay and dither out of timelines because they don`t need to rely on contractors.
Another feather in the cap for ECR and will send the message to potential partners that we mean business as a significant player.

poorinvester, I haven`t changed anything, my view is that property can carry different types of risk, but still a risk.
Here`s another example, a couple decide to by a property abroad for their retirement. They go ahead with the purchase but find out later that the local representative they have been dealing with is either a bit dodgy, or a bit naive....and he`s ended up selling them a property that the seller didn`t legally own! Think Cyprus if my memory serves me. So now they`re in a monumental legal hole.
Its ok if everything is rosy, everyone is true to their word, and its all buttercups and banjo`s with buying property, but thats not always the real world, hence why I say that buying property carries risk.
I`ve given you several examples now, I can come up with more if you want me to.

Yep, fine thanks kainos. Following on from my buy strategy yesterday I read the RNS about the new CEO, seems a good hire, nothing to be put off by.
So I did a dummy quote at 8:01 and got offered 1.38p! Well I was never going to take that because it was too close to yesterdays resistance.
So I watched, and waited, and continued to do dummy quotes while monitoring the live prices, thats the beauty of being a Premium member, you get the live price terminal so you can see them go through by the second.
I kept watching the sellers come in and was even getting offered a buy price below the bid!
So I kept waiting while have the chart open on 15 mins, kept doing dummy quotes, and finally at about 1.10p (a previous supp/res level) the sellers started to dry up and the buyers came in...thats when I added.
If you have charting knowledge, live prices, and your account open, you can get best prices.
Ok its bouncing around my buy price again now but all in all I`m happy with my average with what looks like a decent few months to come.
I regard this as a recovery stock now, with the pieces falling in to place.

So now you`re getting abusive, that means you`ve lost the discussion.
Shares are a better bet if you know what you`re doing, my best current holding is Dev Clever (Dev), I used my technical experience to start buying the dips just over 18 months ago, I`m now sitting on an 8x bagger....you can`t do that with a house!
My other multibaggers in the last two years have been ECR and DVRG.

There are plenty of pitfalls with buying property, people can fall on hard times through no fault of their own and have it repossessed, then they`re locked in to a world of shyte, because you can`t just press the sell button like you can with shares.
You can do a buy to rent, my mate did that then the tenants stopped paying the rent so he had to take legal proceedings, and they trashed it when they left which he still hasn`t recovered the losses.
Don`t try to make out buying a house is ALWAYS a one way bet, because it isn`t.
There`s very likely to be a global recession in the not too distant as well, are you saying people buying now would have a guaranteed profit in two years from now if the housing market crashed with everything else?
I don`t think you`ve thought this through have you!

Could be a technical move on the chart because its coming out of being oversold, but they have ticked it up quite quickly so hopefully people know something that we don`t yet.

I sold my late Fathers house in 2010, it had suffered from many years of subsidence, which wouldn`t have been noticeable when he first purchased it.

There is a 2.5million trade SELLat 1p at 08.52 which I assume was a stop loss and worth £25,000… an hour or so after there is another BUY trade at 09.48 for 2.2million shares valued at £24,999 bought in at 1.12p

This is comedy gold from Mattluc, he didn`t notice that the sell at 1.00p was dated 27th Aug!

Could be coincidence but I think that someone has been burnt because they had a stop loss active… just a warning to be careful with those.

The psychology of the sellers is that the new CEO, as good as he may sound, will not make any difference to NNN for a while, he`s not going to change anything near term, so they`ll be waiting to see what he does.
He now has to prove himself!

poorinvestor, Bottom, what do you mean every investment is a gamble? Do you not know how to research? Yes some investments have a risk but saying all investments are gambles is plain stupid.

Of course all investments are gambles, unless you have insider info (or have buddies in the Govt!)
Can you name a one way investment on the stock market that doesn`t have risk, because if it carries a risk, then its a gamble. eg a company founder unexpectedly dies, or a plethora of other unforeseen circumstances which may be unfortunate.
Thats a risk, is it not?
Just doing your research doesn`t guarantee anything, and anyone who thinks it does is just plain stupid.

Well thats why I didn`t put more in at the close, I`m hedging against the company NOT releasing the new CEO RNS, because with their track record of `expected` updates I wouldn`t be surprised if it didn`t appear, that would see a sell off from some who are expecting it....they did say it depended on the nomad doing their regulatory approvals so lets see if we can get some good news, the potential for the next few months could be transformational.

Yes, every investment is a gamble, whether its a house, land, gold, wine or shares.
The trick is to try to buy at the best price, and some of the buyers who got caught in the spike today, paying 1.30p+ will have to nurse there wounds because they are now underwater. I just hope they didn`t buy because of some of the outrageous fake claims on here.
Their pain may not last long if there`s a good flow of news, but if they bought in on the ramps here then thats their fault.
I added a small trade at 1.25p near the close, but had to wait all day for it.
If there`s a new CEO RNS in the morning, which was stated as the start date for the position, and its a good one, then there will probably be more buying.
But if there`s no RNS, or the new CEO is not what investors were hoping for, then there is likely to be more selling, at which point I will be monitoring where the sellers dry up to add a few more at the lowest possible price, because I believe this will come good over time.
Don`t be swayed by what others say on here, they are anonymous, you will never meet them, and they have their own agenda, which doesn`t include your financial health!

Well Noel Borg makes some very astute charting observations on Twitter, yes he`s pumping his decisions but they make technical sense.

And TA definitely DOES work on AIM, once a company has made an important announcement then its usually a period of time before the next one, thats when trends and trading patterns take over, and the technical traders come in.

Just trying to hold a mirror up to all the pointless posts, you`ll never win whoever you are, because there`s always going to be someone ready to argue....because they have an alternative agenda.
Its all about who can produce the best ramp, or deramp, to influence the newbies to make the wrong call and get caught in a hole, they don`t care about you.
Better to just read the RNS`s, do your research, make a call and watch the share price, otherwise they`ll get inside your head.

Perfect demonstration of why proper traders like Noel Borg NEVER post messages on this website, because they focus on the sp movement, technically, rather than getting in to pointless bickering spats with gamblers who don`t have any structure in their decision making.
Everyone has an agenda on here, whether they are trying to make back losses, make big profits, going short, sold at a loss, or bought in on a spike!
Its pointless engaging on here while the market is live because it will distort your decisions...if you have a strategy!
