When the placing was announce to raise £950k on the 25th Nov, that days volume was 115m. The following day the volume was 81m.

The recent tick up in price in the second half of Jan has been accompanied by volume of double the daily average...c50m.

Placees have been selling huge amounts, counteracting the scramble for buys, so they must be well on their way of selling their 287m shares from the placing and cant have that many left.

I wouldn't want to be out when the positive newsflow starts in the coming days and weeks!

He never came back with an answer, and instead started a new thread about delays.

Tomorrow is the MGA sale deadline so if its not today then must be some kind of update in the morning.

Two things Coco, one is that who cares if the placing shares are being dumped...I'd rather they dump now while we wait for news and the sp stays static..ish! They only have a certain amount to 'dump' until they're done and then the shackles are off when the best news rolls in.

Secondly, all this speculation about delays and extensions only refers to the sale of MGA, it doesn't delay the production plan for Blue Mountain, which we are fully funded for.

As long as the BM production plan is progressing then the MGA progress is almost secondary...at this time, and we know Nick and Mike Parker are there on the ground finalising a plan as we speak.

If you are genuinely frustrated in how AIM works, and how shareholders generally get shafted by placings etc, then I'm with you on that.

But ECR are in a different position to other AIM stocks in the junior exploration sector because they are comparably cash rich, with a selection of assets and licenses to exploit.

Lets see what happens when the newsflow is in full swing, and the placing boys run out of shares to sell!

I think this will end up being the biggest news this year, and the MGA sale will be an added bonus for the funding runway.

Either way, Blue Mountain production plan is well under way, and has been for 3 months or more from when the results, and the Gekko testing summary, was announced in October

Coco, you seem a bit unnaturally concerned for the financial wellbeing of an anonymous bunch of names on a sharechat forum...almost in a mild panic!

We all, well most of us I would guess, know how placings work...its a well known process for raising funds.

I can't work out what you're trying to claim.

Are you saying that....

The tax loss deal will never happen?

The Blue Mountain plan for near term production is fake?

The land owner is not interested in working with ECR?

The property sale will fall through?

The Directors and team members do not really take their remuneration in shares?

And Nick Tulloch isn't really in Australia to finalise the MGA sale and working to finalise plans for production at Blue Mountain.....instead he's holed up in a warehouse at Heathrow waiting for the placees to sell all of their shares?

Was it all just made up to rinse shareholders in a massive scam just to keep the placing boys happy?

Or are you just getting very nervous that all of the above is actually true and getting close to being completed/signed off/advanced, and that newsflow is about to get very frequent and juicy over the coming days, weeks, and months?

Well there's over 12.4m that are all at the upper side of the spread, so they're clearly not 'all' placing sells.

I would say the evidence shows a mix of buys and sells listed as unknown.

There were also plenty of 1m trades listed as buys, so on a day when the total volume was almost 48m I would say it was about even...thats why the mid price didn't hardly change all day.

If this MGA deal was to fall at the last hurdle, after all the legal research, and subsequent negotiations over recent months, Nick and Mike's reputations would be in tatters, and plenty of interested parties would be calling for their resignations.

Their RNS updates on this matter have been nothing but 'all systems go' all the way through, and their interviews have been extremely confident and all smiles at what is going to be a company game changer event.

I have been invloved one way or another (trading, investing) with ECR for probably a decade or so, and I have never been so confident that now is the time to back what this team are doing....realising the assets!
