When the placing was announce to raise £950k on the 25th Nov, that days volume was 115m. The following day the volume was 81m.

The recent tick up in price in the second half of Jan has been accompanied by volume of double the daily average...c50m.

Placees have been selling huge amounts, counteracting the scramble for buys, so they must be well on their way of selling their 287m shares from the placing and cant have that many left.

Todays big trade looks like it could be the last of the placees 287m, because it isn't a round figure like all their other big sells.

Why else would there be a flurry of buys and a tick up in the sp by the MM's accompanied by huge volume relative to the 2 hour average...without an RNS?

Two hour average is just over 5m, todays volume so far is 47m!

Even if you deduct the 30m its still 3x the normal average.

Just to add, the main market can be a minefield aswell.

I had some Dev Clever shares with great potential going back a few years...they suspended trading with immediate effect all of a sudden out of the blue...and after a year of suspension they delisted!

Recently I bought in to Card Factory because they just looked like a cash machine. I was banking on a good Interim update in January...which they duly achieved with a great like for like increase in revenues...and the shares did nothing from a low overall valuation, and have trickled backwards ever since.

Obviously the retail sector is not favourite at the moment, with Rachael Thieves and her antics, regardless of results.

I could go on with examples, but the markets seem to be toxic these days, for whatever reason, regardless of what sector or index its in.

But in ECR's position, if they can start bringing Gold in, with the all time high POG, I think the greed factor and fomo will kick in.

Lets see how it plays out.

I've been chasing AIM stocks for years, because the returns can be huge...with mixed success I have to say.

But I've seen this kind of thing time and time again. The 'aim' of the game is to stay fully functional as a going concern, and ECR have played a blinder this time.

They obviously sat down and analysed the options, particularly as the Octo deal was never gauranteed...as reiterated in every RNS on the subject of the tax loss negotiations throughout.

It gave them a stronger hand to play, being that it demonstrated that they were not desperate for funds.

Yes it put a few noses out of joint at the time, mostly short term traders looking to make a quick buck, but it meant that we are now fully funded for 2025 plans, not just Blue Mountain production but other works to prove up other assets.

The placing, as well as the property sale has put ECR in a strong position going forward, with the potential for Gold production revenues in the not too distant.

There are plenty of junior Gold explorers out there looking to raise funds that would love to be in this position, and might even go out of business in the current uncertain climate.

Thats the AIM casino for you, you win some you lose some.

I'm glad that ECR don't have to raise funds via placings to get Blue Mountain in to production, it could have been tricky as the US considers the possibility of a recession coming down the track, and would have meant a low ball raise if ECR hadn't had the foresight to raise nearly £1m...at .33p in November!

They have stated many times now that the BM production project, fully funded, is the main focus as the priority target for revenue generation in the relative near term.

Once they start RNS'ing progress being made in the project then the market will start to take notice, and the sp will reflect that income stream as the end of any thoughts about funding...unless its to increase production further down the line with a second washplant in order to accelerate growth, but by that time the share price should be multiples of where we are today.

Risk/reward down at this sp level is very attractive, but the greed and fomo will kick in at the first official sign of development on the ground to put the plan in motion.

Not sure the strategy has been 'exactly' the same as past Directors....Craig Brown liked to buy properties and these current two would rather monetise those non useful assets....for example. And he was the one who took the shares in issue from 200m to 1bn!

These would rather take salaries in shares mostly, and we've heard all the points against that, but the reality is that they only really make a decent return if the share price is 200% + higher than today, in which case all the loyal long termers also make good returns.

And nobody in the past has ever been close to going in to revenue generating Gold production...just as the POG is at an all time high.

Blue Mountain is the only place they have left to 'hide'. Bring that in to production in the coming months and everything changes enormously.

Fail to do that and it will be game over for these two in many investors eyes, including mine, its as simple as that.

Stick to the strategy of assembling a Gold producing facility as priority numero uno as fast as possible, and they wont need anywhere to hide because they'll be celebrated all over the junior mining media....and we all know what that kind of attention brings.

As long as they keep up progress at BM and start to announce setting out the project on the best identified locations, which proves it is their primary focus, then this will alleviate any fears of a taking on more than they can handle.

BM is THE only transforamational project in the company assets in the near term, with an estimated AU$ 500k/month coming in.

Get the wash plant on site after some quick modifications for optimal returns and the sp will easily bag from here.

Today has been carnage across most sectors with the jolly orange man baby's deliberations across the pond...tariffs and WW111 etc, but the fudsters on here want to annihilate a potential future aquisition, which may not even happen!

As long as Blue Mountain remains front and centre in the plans, with progressive updates then we are looking at a completely different scenario....THE company maker!

Let it drift into the background and we are going nowhere.

At least we have plenty of funds in place to move forward at pace, so no need to worry about cash...especially with another cash injection soon following the land sale worth AD$225,000 to bolster the coffers.

Forget the Maximus deal at this point, they have up to 3 months of due dilligence to make a decision...remember, the Helium deal ended up being a non starter, with the Nick Tulloch conections, so this one could be aswell.

Main focus and priority to get production ready...everything else is secondary!

They don't need to spend every waking moment going over the plans...they are already advanced!

Plus I think the appointment of Mike Parker might help as he's successfully fried much bigger fish than getting production up and running at Blue Mountain.

Mike has extensive experience in exploration and project development, overseeing projects from discovery through construction to production. In the UK, he is best known for his 22 year tenure at First Quantum Minerals (FQM) where he held progressively senior country manager positions, and was instrumental in two major copper discoveries: the Lonshi and Frontier mines. He was country manager in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) for FQM, overseeing up to 3,000 staff with 2 operating copper mines and a mine construction project.

The They had the perfect opportunity to focus on bringing BM in to production but their ego's wouldn't allow it. - James the fudster.

The preliminary steps in relation to assessing the commercial suitability of the Blue Mountain Project are as follows:

1. Aerial survey using drones to determine the most suitable locations for trenching

2. Ground penetrating radar to determine the depth of the bedrock

3. Commissioning of a wash plant, either made to order or purchased off the shelf and modified

4. Planning for recovery and reuse of water

5. Processing of bulk samples to test the recovery rate

Plans for steps 1-3 above are now well advanced in parallel with ongoing work on costing the full production plant and engaging specialist contractors. Further announcements will be made as the project develops.

So in a nutshell, they've secured first dibs on an aquisition, payed for in shares, at no less than .33p, and have 3 months to decide, by which time they will be well in to getting production underway at Blue Mountain, with a low ball estimate of almost AU$500k per month in tax free revenues!

There's three months of due dilligence before any deal is reached for this aquisition...thats 3 months closer to production at Blue Mountain.

ECR are in a strong position after the Octo deal fell through. They retain the Bailieston asset, with its Gold and particularly the Antimony results. They also retain the tax losses with the potential of Blue Mountain going in to production TAX FREE for years to come.

You can bet your bottom dollar that if the Octo deal went through the fudsters would be comparing the company to Gordon Brown when he 'gave away' the British Gold reserves at a knock down price, by selling the Antimony discovery.

They would also critisize them for selling the tax loss too cheap when it would make sense to retain it if BM has such high potential for sustainable revenues!

You can't win with these clowns, they would critisize a ball bearing if it had ECR's name on it!

While we were waiting for an update yesterday morning I decided to see if I could find out more about Octo Holdings, and it seems that they are very secretive.

When I kept hitting brick walls on clicking every link I started to wonder what the hell is going on with them.

What I did find out was that there are 4 beneficiaries in the company, all of which seem to be part of a South African family...

Curiously all of them are listed as - Ownership of shares - More than 25%!

The company was registered on 29th Nov '22 in the Seychelles as an 'overseas entity'!

And thats it!

I remember thinking hmmm...not sure about these, it all felt a bit uncomfortable to me.

So when the comprehensive strategy update came out yesterday with the cancellation of negotiations with them I was quite relieved...probably more than 25% relieved!!

I'm invested in ECR Minerals. Regardless of who said what to who and who posted what on X, and what the traders were gambling on...ECR Minerals still own their licenses, their attractive assets and their tax losses to utilise. OWN 100%.

And now FULLY FUNDED to move in to being a Gold producer in the coming months, I couldn't care less what the FUD spreaders, with grudges, say about it.

And traders might well consider becoming investors after this short term over reaction.

Buy buy buy!!!

As I've continued to say recently, BM is the main event, thats the project that will turn ECR in to a Gold producer....for the first time in their history.

Fully funded for that, and fully funded to explore Bailieston's Antimony prospects, as well as the Gold there....both at record prices.

Todays update is not a problem for investors, it's only a problem for short term traders gambling on a quick buck!

Someone posted recently asking that if BM had such good potential then why don't ECR just use the tax losses against future revenues.

I replied that it was a better option to take the cash now. Well I stand corrected, and with the extensive negotiations with Octo, ECR have determined that that might not be a bad idea, and as things are changing to the upside with Antimony and Gold, I'm starting to agree.

So well spotted...whoever you were.

I agree, if Octo were getting too greedy then fk 'em. It was obvious that the Antimony aspect, and its rocketing price was part of the negotiations of late, so fair play to ECR for standing their ground.

The only people peed off by this update are the short term traders looking for a quick buck on the deal being announced....so fk them aswell.

This is a strong position for investors, lets see where we are in the summer with Blue Mountain production and self sustaining internal revenues.

Now the shrewd move of raising enough funds for this year, at .33p looks like very good business.

Just make sure the funds focus on bringing BM in to production asap, and there will be plenty of interest.

Because its a win win for both party's, whoever they turn out to be.

ECR want cash to grow the company, and whoever buys will be able to save a good chunk of tax on their balance sheet.

I don't understand why you would doubt it will be done...its a no brainer!

The deal will be done, and if not with Octo then someone else will be interested in reducing their tax bill considerably, as well as getting their hands on some Antimony at the current explosive price/ton trend, and the critical need in the 21st century.

Also, why wouldn't they have c£1m left in the coffers (including the land sale)?

They had some funds left when they raised £950k in late Nov '24, only 3 months ago, and now soon to add AU$225,000.

Directors are still taking the majority of salary in shares, including Adam Jones on the ground.

They haven't been laying out big expenditure on machinery or property, or buying licenses in the last 3 months, so why wouldn't I estimate that in a couple of weeks time after the property sale completion, ECR will have around £1m to work with.

They've stated more than once recently via official RNS or social media interviews that they are fully funded for ALL of their activities in 2025.....WITHOUT the MGA tax loss sale!

The deal on the sale of MGA is just one part of the company's assets, it's just a one off and once its done it's done, money in the coffers and move on to the rest of the assets.

The main event this year is going in to production at Blue Mountain.

£1m in the bank including the land sale soon to complete, and a plan to be self sufficient bringing in several £m/year in Gold revenues, with a market cap of less than £6m now!

Good risk/reward.

So coco the clown thinks that the two leaders Nick and Mike have achieved nothing up till now!

What they did do when they came in was to announce their strategy from day one. To realise value in ECR's assets, core and non core, which they've been doing.

They also announced that they will take the majority of their remuneration in shares, and convinced others in the company to do the same, aswell as some service providers along the way....to preserve funds!

Also they've been working hard to bring the MGA sale to the point where its at the latter stages of negotiations following the signing of a Heads of Terms Agreement with Octo.

And since the 'Blue Mountain Bulk Concentrate Yields 192 g/t Gold' RNS last August, and then the subsequent 'Highly Encouraging Test Work Result Reveals 91.7% Gold Recovery From Blue Mountain Ore Sample' announcement two months later in early October, they have been working on production plans for BM to transform ECR from a junior minerals explorer to a self sustaining Gold producer...this year...fully funded, and without the tax loss sale!

Does the clown really think that its all been a plan to gain options at a 200% and 300% higher share price so that they can sit back and let some other Directors come in and take all the glory, considering all the work they've put in so far?

Of course he doesn't!

He's just a FUD spreader with a grudge who can't dream up anything more believable!
