Yes, they said some months ago that........To settle a further £12 million, it plans to dispose of non-core assets and initial discussions with potential buyers are already going well. How long will it take? Its a `forced sale` so potential buyers will want them on the cheap! This from 29th Dec.... The Directors recognise the uncertainty over the value of the assets subject to disposal, even though these assets have been written down to forced sale value. As I keep saying, until they secure the sale of non core assets too much uncertainty will exist as to how much they will get for them...if they were easy to sell at a good price they would have sold them already!

nevergonnaretire- my guess is that people are just linking the word `graphene` with a couple of reports about the substance recently, particularly the desalination story. I don`t think some of them (buyers) have done any research here about products, direction, financials or aloof directors! GRPH are still in the `shite` as it stands...until they get the sale of their non core assets away, because that `caveat` is an important part of the funding agreement to be completed. I`m just going on website and RNS facts from the horses mouth rather than chat room waffle and blind ramping! So, with a small free float as others have stated on here, the sp is making wild swings on relatively low volume over time.....beware the wide spread though!

Yeah seems a bit strange that at the date on the release MWG`s sp was 6.5p, a market cap of ~£5m Yet the release says they will get funding of $500,000 from the UK Govt, now sp has risen to 8.8p...but they didn`t deem it necessary to RNS it!!! ????

Hahahaha, you`re funny, the reason why 8p is relevant is because it has been resistance two days running, google it if you don`t know what it means. Peonia....they don`t hand out medals, its just that if you follow the story of a company and know whats going on then you stand a much better chance of reading the facts, and making trading decisions on the basis of those facts. Ok, I`ll educate you and all the other chancer gambler seagulls out there. Facts.. This company has been in dire straights lately and suspended their shares from trading for 6 months up until Xmas when they announced a trading resumption with the `caveat` that Darwin had got them out of the sh*te by funding their recovery by way of a deal which was beneficial to Darwin, they are issued tranches of shares for a sum of cash but Darwin could then sell those shares in the open market. When the shares were suspended they were at 15p. After the resumption of trading the sp opened at 8p and then rose briefly to 12.5p but then fell consistantly to the most recent low of 3.3p Then they bounced on the news of the water sieve announcement, which was purely on sentiment and a rush of blood that GRPH were in some way involved. The announcement was that there had been a result of some testing in a laboratory to suggest that a Graphene filter would be able to `potentially` be used in a desalination solution that would turn sea water into drinking water. The key fact here is that it was a laboratory test, thats all, and when interviewed on TV the scientists that discovered this new dream solution said that it was some time off before a working system could be employed, and that there was no guarantees that it could be used on a mass produced basis...yet. And even more of a key fact was/is that GRPH has not said that it has anything to do with it! So after the big bounce in GRPH shares over the last couple of days you would expect that they would come out with some sort of announcement to couple themselves with this new development..but they haven`t! Thats why its just a fake bounce, and all the desprate gamblers thinking they were going to make a killing are now underwater a gasping for air! Lessons learned?

Ah good timing shaggy, just got back indoors after a busy morning and `even I` have commitments from time to time! So...lets see whats going on, mid price 5.92p as I write, data `suggesting` 2.3m sells and 728k buys, I say `suggesting` because the data is not reliable, but with volume falling off a cliff relative to the `spike` it looks like quite a few have given up on the 8p-10p-15p blue sky target....no news again today so I think you`re a bit previous to be crowing about the sp not falling further. RNS `Darwin Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM and admission is expected to take place on or around 7 April 2017` So `on or around` can be today, can be Monday, who knows? All I do know is that the sp has not even hinted at approaching 8p again today, so you could very well be eating humble pie yourself today for crowing too early. Exciting isn`t it!

...where`s all the buffoons gone now? The one buffoon (who can`t spell bufoon!) hasn`t been on spouting his over ramping nonsense since before 1pm and has probably resigned himself to the fact that the `game` is now over. I`ll bet a pound to a pinch of seagull sh*te that he sold this afternoon ready to move on to the next `fish&chips`! Or, to wait for the next drop, probably tomorrow`s gap close @ 4.5p...to buy back in and start squawking again. Those who followed the likes of his over ramping, and particularly those who bought this morning over 8p, have now been impaled on the spike..... and any rise from here will now get sold into now that they realize what just happened. When Darwin start selling their recent tranche, probably tomorrow, the sp will be held back and the wait for any positive news goes on. As I said before, the time to buy will be when they announce that they have sold their non core assets and complied with their agreed investment commitments. Even Zak Mir thinks that a break and sustained hold above 8p will be the green light to get in. Time will tell!

Mid price now 6.77p.... an hour ago it was 8.13p, thats about a 15% (or so) drop right there, so a 20% drop tomorrow is easily on the cards.

Well the spread can be 10% or so on this share for a start, the MM`s will take this down by default which will cause a bit of panic selling, I saw exactly the same happen with ECR Minerals last year, GA Global played it like a `fiddle`..ahem...so to speak. And Darwin haven`t got involved to be long term investors, GRPH had to go along with this arrangement or go down the pan. Next big news for GRPH is when they announce the sale of non core assets, which they have been trying to do for months without any indication that it is going well..its a fire sale and buyers will want them for peanuts!

I did, especially this bit....The Company has therefore issued today 6,130,011 new ordinary shares to Darwin ("Darwin Shares") at an issue price of 4.078296p per Darwin Share.The Darwin Shares will rank pari passu in all respects with the existing ordinary shares. Application will be made for the Darwin Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM and admission is expected to take place on or around 7 April 2017. So tomorrow watch Darwin sell these into the open market, anything above 4.07p and they will be laughing all the way to the bank......plus the dilution effect of the 6.13m shares added to the shares in issue! 5p tmoro!

Looks eresistance at 8p for now.then clear skies to 15...mrbrown Ha ha ha ha, I thought you said 8p had gone, it was significant resistance yesterday and is still holding under heavy volume this morning. it still would have to overcome 9p, 10.5p, and significant pivot point at 12p ish! So to say clear skies to 15p is utter ramping ******ios and cobbleros, particularly on no new news by the company!
