Half price!15 Nov 2018 14:26
Shares in CNR are now half price...half the price they were after the peak of the rise following the announcement that they have been awarded the permit to go ahead with mining their vast gold find.
There has been no collective selloff by private shareholders...why would you after waiting so long for the said permit. Some might say that its just a case of `buy the rumour sell the news`, but this manipulated sustained drop in the SP is way overdone and a tad hard to understand for us mushrooms, and the only difference with us mushrooms and `normal` ones is that we`re not being fed any shyte! Which is my point really, we`re not being told anything.
The share price is being maniplulated, when you consider the low volume of trades compared to consistent erosion of market cap.
Post permit high.....c£32m market cap (46p)
50 day average volume traded since then 44.3k/day, so around 220k/week for 10 weeks = 2.2m @ an average price of about 35p....so total value traded since permit c£770,000.
And yet £16m in market cap value has been wiped off, trading today at 23p!
You would think that market rules would dictate that some sort of statement should be released, you know, the old `we know of no reason why the drop etc etc. but I suppose that doesn`t apply on AIM.
Can`t see it being shorted to the extent needed to drop the SP so far, especially when posters on here have confirmed buys listed as sells, therefore probably majority of trades around the same time and price on any given day are also listed as sells......and then duplicated!!....to make it look like a higher number of sells!
Definitely something going on in the background, whether a large seller or an orchestrated lower price to fit in with some sort of funding agenda, JV, placing, or takeover whatever is anybody`s guess.
So until us mushrooms get `fed` its half price, buy one get one free!
