Absolutely agree aspers, and a woman with such a high quality CV would not be joining if she thought Bids were on a path to failure. She would have been assured that Bids have a financial future, however that is set out, otherwise she would look a bit of a plonker getting on board now.
People of this calibre and experience don`t sign on any dotted lines unless they`ve done their due diligence.
InMobi was the latest piece of the jigsaw which went under the radar...for now, but when the big picture starts to reveal itself and the market sits up and takes notice the shares will be in higher demand.
They haven`t been working hard in locations all over the world during the last couple of years, involving AAA Silicon Valley experts and high net worth successful tech and business people, (incl their contacts and networks), for it to all go swirling down the plughole now.

Quite encouraging that Microsoft thought it was worth paying $300m for a video games advertising company 15 years ago!

If you`ve followed the Bidstack journey you will know that James Draper has told this story.....about how the market wasn`t mature enough for Massive, thats why Microsoft closed it down in 2010!

Funny how neither one of you addressed the subject of Bids being the most accomplished company in the space, and chose to focus on the `I`m glad to be in early, because I`m fascinated by the journey` comment!

Thankfully I got in early....early 2019 at 8p, with the majority of my holding in my SIPP.
Yes I added on the way up, then traded a bit, put some more in on the 4p placing last year, and kept the faith while all around were biting their nails down to their elbows.
I am currently underwater, but not by much, and certainly not the disaster that some experienced because they didn`t do enough research and just piled in on the hype.
Focus on your `bull***t over the last couple of years if you must but I don`t, I like to follow the construction and development of the network as we get closer to the business end of the plan.

Hi Jimmy, after our exchange last night I thought I would do some research and try to answer my own question regarding other listed companies in the space.
It looks to me that the only other listed company in IGA is Adverty, the others are private start ups.
Adverty, listed in Sweden, have a current employee team of 5 Directors, and 1 Advisor.
They have raised total funding of $3,8m...so about £2,5m, over 3 funding rounds.
They operate in what can only be described as `junior` games, very cartoon like, so not a patch on the grown up version of what Bidstack operate in.

These companies are following Bidstack as the pioneer, even though some claim to also be at the cutting edge. Ok, they are in at the early stages of this new category, but not as accomplished as Bidstack, or as recognised in the grown up games, grown up meaning real life graphics, Football Manager... GRID, Dirt, Cricket, EAsports etc

So to the point of Bidstack keeping their cards close to their chest, ie not laying too many breadcrumbs for the smaller companies to gain knowledge from.
I think JD, FP and the advisors are keen to keep quiet about as much as possible at this stage, because their aim is to become the ultimate `go to` advertising platform within the gaming community, globally.

Their security via Pubguard, and their research via Lumen and MOAT makes Bidstack the main player in the space, thats why I`m patiently waiting for the completion of the end to end network where all the hard work will be rewarded for the whole team, and the shareholders.

I`m glad to be in early, because I`m fascinated by the journey, and want to know every move they make...both psychologically, and fundamentally in building the network in such an exciting arena of 21st century technology.

I have my brief testy exchanges with the likes of helx, but honestly... its no more than playing his game, a bit of sport.
About as annoying as a persistent fly interrupting my sunbathing on a glorious summers day, nothing a quick backhand can`t swat away!

One more aspect of the whole thing is the competition within the space, and the need for each player to keep their cards close to their chest.

helx...oops sorry, I mean Girdz, Jimmy stated he knew about Bidstack because he `HAD` a sizable investment for over 2 years.
To me that reads that he doesn`t `HAVE` them anymore. Maybe he`s bitter if he sold at a loss.

You may think I`m the only one who`s optimistic but my posts get plenty of rec`s by others.
Maybe some of us understand that the build out process takes a lot of effort and time so are prepared to wait for the prize.

Jimmy, maybe you`re a bean counter and I`m just buying in to the concept bigger picture.
Maybe your forensic analysis of the accounts is a bit early in the journey, and the margin issue which haunts you is not set in stone till the end of time. These things can be renegotiated over time as the platform proves its worth.
Maybe the current margin set up is dictated by the games publishers, and once the network becomes established Bids can tap in to a higher piece of the pie, because the demand will be there.
Maybe this is the first stage on from the test spend stage, and the full fat version as far as Bidstacks % of the pay structure will adjust as the end to end platform fully develops.
Maybe JD thinks that you can`t go from a test spend to wringing their necks for blood at the first event.

JD`s recent and ongoing `quiet efficiency`may be irking some investors, but it doesn`t mean he`s not aware of all avenues around him, he`s surrounded by some very astute successful businessmen in the gaming and advertising world, who`s payday comes via share options, not salaries.
So I`m sure they`re all smart enough to have realised that a bird feed share of the spoils is not going to get them their options targets, and wouldn`t still be around if they couldn`t see how that is going to happen.

And btw, yes some people are viewing the situation as if Bids was a general company. As soon as they announced that they would exceed last years rev expectations there were posters just like you all coming on and shouting `yes, but its not profits`!
What did they expect at this stage....ffs?

ps. if you`ve sold out then let us long termers worry about % margins and go and post on something you do hold.

citylink, you make a good point as to why some might be selling due to the situation in India.
But its a bit irrational in my view, for a start the effect is most severe in the older generation, not students.
Also, there are 1.4 billion people in India with a total case number of 17.6m, 14.5m of those have recovered, and less than 200,000 have died, as sad as that is, but far less per head of population than the UK.

Subscriptions for the Dev platform have been growing strongly by the sounds of it, so its not likely to be halted to any extent with the appetite for learning in the Indian culture, besides, India isn`t the only source of income for Dev.
