Lol I’m not a big fish. I own just over 1.5m 0.6%. But these small amounts add up.
Apparently a small free float is <15% and companies will try to increase this to improve liquidity .... including via placings.
Therefore I wonder if the timing and size of the placing was advised by the company broker.

Without totting up accurately that’s about 70% of shares in issue and doesn’t include the directors. In addition there‘s quite a few pis with smaller holdings of 1-2 million.
My point is the free float is still pretty small.

Nice to see a little accumulation this morning. This is still a holiday week for many so encouraging to see the markets waking up. The period between mid Sept to Xmas is normally the busiest for corporate activity.

Just a quick query for the better informed.
Is there any way that the directors could take direct or indirect advantage of the recent broker placing without having to notify the market? I ask only because the placing was at a deep discount to the current share price. I’m struggling to understand why so deep?

Well all this “activity” will eventually have to be published in the accounts.
My feeling is the accounts will provide the rocket under the SP.

Well he’s a price I believe. So he expects a bit better than plebs like us.
