This is an “update” on activities within the company. It not a deal announcement. It was due imo.
It’s nice to see positive activities on multiple fronts.

8 announcements since the new year I mean

If you compare ALGW with ZEN - a company I briefly owned shares in, news flow is very different.
Removing price monitoring exercises ALGW have put out about 8 company RNS. ZEN on the other hand have put out 50 RNS.
In the case of ZEN these relate to financing projects, doing deals, greasing palms, raising funds, lots of director share buying. You’d think the company was doing really well...
... and yet the company is mismanaged and dying.
Ergo, you shouldn’t equate RNS activity with success. In addition I wonder if a delay is due to coordinating a joint announcement where ALGW have to wait for the parent company before proceeding.

If you don’t have a stake cos you sold out early and now regret it, that’s tough, but you’ve taken yourself out of the game. Please exit stage left and stop lingering around like a bad smell.

They only have 205m shares in issue.
Given that this could be the next Berkshire Hathaway, they’re a give away at this price.
BTW Buffets first fund was a tiddler once.

Well I’m not entirely sure what’s going on and RNS well overdue. I’m certainly not selling a position I’d struggle to rebuild based on no evidence there’s anything wrong.

Over on ADVFN there’s a link to a notification that DS was to speak at the LIDO exclusive annual conference back in March. It’s where all the UHNW hang out. Why would he be invited unless LIDO we’re lining Alpha up? Did he pick up any clients?
If nothing else, It’s good to see that they’re not resting on their laurels. The pressure is building to bring this info to the market now. They absolutely know this. So I assume there are just a few legal issues.
Did Hulls LIDO interview suggest a new fund starting in October? Would that be the official start of the liaison with Alpha?

I’ve never said RNS coming based on sweet FA. But there’s always a first time. So here goes.
