100% agreed, makes no sense, so can only assume that that they want the price lower to be able to load up ready for a big rise........

As I said earlier, I think the one they announced today was the $900m loan note one, and paying it off 3 years early must be a positive......isn't it.?!?!?!?

But CCL are down over 3.5%, where as Royal are down less than 0.5% and NCL down just less than 2%..

Never been on MSC, so very interesting.

Maybe they meant first of type on Royal, but it definitely sounded like "first of type" on a cruise line.

Am on Icon in June, obviously fully comp'd.!

They have the new generation Lifts as well.

Where you press the button on the outside of the lift for the floor you want, and the lift turns up.

Inside the lift there aren't any buttons.

Its been around in office blocks for years, but first of type on a cruise ship.

Royal brings out Star of the Seas next year, which is the second Icon class ship.

They have also changed several of the very large Oasis class ships to 3 & 4 night cruises.

Must admit, their revenue model is a lot better than CCL's currently.

Some analysts believe that Royal will be over $200 by the end of 2024, which is a 66% gain from current.

I have 13 cruises this year, all comp'd, with over $20,000 in freeplay, so I'm definitely not giving them any money.!

We closed today at $17.03. It is now currently after hours $17.33

As we closed yesterday at $17.29, which was 1234.5 which was our opening this morning, in theory, on Monday morning, we will not only recover the 25p we lost today, but also gain a few more pence as well.

US had an incredible rally after our close, which may or may not filter down to travel stocks next week.

We shall see.!

That is therefore an even after hours finish to our finish.

So, we start in theory clean tomorrow.

Sentiment today was for travel, but stronger Oil, potential for the Fed/BoE to hold rates higher for longer is still out there, and is nibbling away.

US has had a strong day, which normally means a bad day tomorrow.!

But...... We shall see.!

The reality is that, whether this goes down 10%, or up 5%, eventually, it will be worth £25.

That might be the end of 2024, end of 2025, or end of 2026, there's not exactly many places that you can get 100% return within 3 years.

We all play the emotion card with the daily ups and downs, but the bigger picture is what is truly important.

I say "punt", it's not, because again, I'm an idiot, I own nearly 300,000 shares in the c.r.a.p. but luckily, I'm in for 12p so am over 75% up.

II's do own a large chunk, unfortunately not the really big boy Pension funds though.

Some of the II's actually own less than I do.

It does get a bit murky when you talk about II's though, as funds and group funds hold a lot of shares, and they are considered II's in some calculations of ownership, when the reality is that a non-managed fund is purely a collation of share holdings that make up the fund price.
