Shares, currently, are illogical.

The fundamental of Share trading and ownership has changed in the last 4 years. It's no longer about the company, it's all about the "feel" or "sentiment" of the company or industry.

Pre-Covid, all of my investments were in funds, with the majority being in the Fidelity Global Tech W fund, which has continued upwards.

My main buy in was £5.50 for Carnival, which was then sold/re-bought/sold/re-bought etc. until the June 2023 big sell at £13.50 if you remember back then.!. I know I have done amazingly well with Carnival as I have done across the board with all of my stocks and funds.

I have missed out on the last 80p rise as I sold my added extra shares, but still hold 30,000, although the other shares I have made 3% on since last week anyway in a host of other holdings now.

This undoubtedly will drop as the run has been incredible but it does just re-show you how quickly this share can move upwards.

It was only 2 months ago it dipped back below £10.

If you could time this right you could easily make a fortune with the ups and downs....

With UK Inflation dropping that will put pressure on the pound and make the exchange rate better for us. It will get even better if the BOE adjust the Interest rates and the Fed doesn't.... However on the flip side, if the Fed doesn't adjust then the feeling of "US Recession" will gain momentum again and we will probably see a bigger drop.

As Carnival are a US driven company not UK driven, the Inflation drop will probably help UK/EU Travel stocks, just unfortunately not Carnival.

I've started getting a nose bleed with this. It's gone up £4.50 in two months. 45%. That's not Carnival that we know and love.

CWWX obviously had conversations with Elon Musk and went to the moon rather than for a walk down the street, Bhants obviously got on the big red phone to the big man above us.

We do need to be careful here, without putting a negative on this. Price Targets are $25 to $28 for a year out, and we are now knocking on $21.50 for the main CCL price.

They upgraded Royal and NCL but haven't really upgraded CCL properly. So does that mean that there will be an upgrade, or is the projection that we won't get above the $25/$28 mark, which is only 16% to 30% away.....

Of course, I will happily take the 30% rise and sit at the top being £19.25, which was my original target for the end of this year. 2024 - £20, 2025 - £25, 2026 - £30.....

Either way, happy days, congrats all.
