Unfortunately it closed at 1.60 which is only a 0.02 gain on the day.
At UK close time it was 1.63....

I’m going to have a “reasonable” guess.
Like any corporation there will be a budget exchange rate and then transactions are processed using that rate. Separately there is then an exchange rate gain/loss.

I would love it to be higher but noting the debt increases /exposure expecting to be back to £4.30 before then I think is unrealistic

For some unknown reason Carnival is even worse.
At 12pm EST TODAY CARNIVAL US was $25.91. UK Carnival close was £15.82. So same time.. which would make that exchange rate 1.637...!!!
But I used to trade Carnival and it was always about 1.45.... which is why I’ve continued to use 1.45.
If you took that same for RR and RYCEY at 5pm/12pm EST. The rate would be 1.433
So for me... I will continue with 1.45... :-)

It’s really about time this properly took off though.
I can’t believe that Cineworld has increased x4 in 4 months. It’s just incredible noting that nobody has gone to the cinema .... but planes are at least still flying and ships etc are still being built and defence spending is still happening...

I don’t know “officially” what is the right rate but I always use 1.45/1.00. It seems to be thee “budget rate”.
