Well my day in the sun is less than two weeks away.!
Been back from the Caribbean for nearly two weeks, but am off again, on the Wonder of the Seas, for two weeks, in just over a weeks time.
It's too cold here......I'm leaving the wife at home and going with some cruising buddies.

Carnival has over 100 ships, plus the ones being built across all their brands.
Royal has 26 in Royal, 13 in Celebrity (Excluding the Xplorer class that holds less than 100 passengers) and Silverseas which has 4, total for Royal is 42.

With a long term debt for Carnival of $32bn vs Royals $24bn........
How the hell are we here at this share price.....

Royal had a MC of $34bn pre covid.
Carnival had a MC of $61.41bn just pre-covid, however, if you look in 2018, Carnival's MC was $83.44bn.
With nearly 100 ships in operation/on order, you would think that the power and shear scope of Carnival, would at least be the same as Royal, on a like for like.

Once you have researched those numbers, and then re-looked at the capitalisation of the share price, you will be able to calculate that on a LIKE FOR LIKE, which is what I said previously, Royal is four times that of Carnival.
Royal has, on a like for like, over half the debt that Carnival does, but has less than half the volume of ships.

This isn't a drop, it's literally a Tanking.
It's incredible with the knowledge of a full boat, over 90+ ships full, revenue going to be as higher, if not higher than pre-covid, and because NCL had rocky results, we tank.
Again, look at Royal, and that's only down 2%.
How the hell Royal is worth now, like for like, at least 4 times what Carnival Corp is, really is beyond any logic, numbers, or calculations whatsoever.
Royal have the same, like for like, debt that CCL do......so I really don't get it.
Another 40p wiped off........absolutely incredible.
The only thing is that this is where I lost patience with Rolls Royce, and really couldn't see the wood through the tree's...and sold a huge number of shares.......

So, looks like I'm holding, for however long, to hit my £18 target.......I just hope that it's this year.!

All we need though is a positive qtr.
If we can show debt reduction and back in profit with a full passenger order book for “future growth” then you never know… we could bounce like RR has…
I guess we will need to wait intol the Qtr results are announced.
Last year that was at the end of March. Whether they will bring in the Qtr result’s announcement who knows…

There are no guarantees.
Realistically, the dividend, when....and I mean when it comes, which probably will not be 2023, would be between 1.5% - 2.5% of the SP, assuming we have surplus cash, and the debt is paid down enough.

So it doesn't matter of the volume of shares, it's just if you have 100 shares you get xyz...
So having 64,383 shares doesn't get me anything, apart from huge heart burn when we drop.?

What is the shareholder benefit from Carnival.?
Does I go by the amount of shares or is it like Royal.???
$250 for 100 shares but non combinable with any other discounts…
As all my cruises are comp’d I never managed to get anything for my Royal Shares when I owned them.

and Rolls Royce continues to go up. It's making me feel a bit sick now.

$75m payment less approx, $60m legal fees = $15m left from this payment (£12.5m).........or maybe a 4p dividend.!

Well, we will shall see on the 5th / 6th March what's going to happen.
They get their first £45m payout. Let's see if that's going to be a 15p dividend, or a buy back, or "we're keeping the money for future prospects"

First cruise was a taster on Aurora for a weekend to Bruges, and then never went back on P&O since.
I cruise Royal, and invest in Carnival....Go figure.!

If you fly Premium, you get the benefits of larger allowance, and a decent seat without the hurt of the Business Class Price.
I have a BA AMEX, which I pay for, so that all spend gets a better Airmiles conversion, and when you spend over £10k a year you get a companion voucher.
Strongly recommend everyone to look at either the BA or Virgin CC's that you pay for, so that you get decent airmiles, and the companion voucher. They are worth a fortune really.
This is how I always fly Business, with my airmiles from the CC.
I fly to Orlando in two weeks to get on the Wonder of the Seas (Royal Caribbean ship). Was on it in June last year, very nice ship.
I only have 16 cruises booked for this year, so am slacking a bit. :-)
Looking forwards to the Norwegian Fjords on Anthem of the Seas from Southampton, but am also flying to New York to get on Anthem to cruise back to Southampton beginning of May.

IAG's results were good overall, back to profit, projected 96% seat capacity, and they have nose dived......
All I know is did I seriously f.c.u.k up when I sold RR for Carnival.!
Another 6% gain today for RR...
We need to keep the faith, Carnival will eventually come good, and the problem is that will happen when we think it shouldn't, and we've got too frustrated and sold, or tried to trade.
If Q1 results are very strong, they should, in theory, increase the target price, which should in theory reduce the shorts, which should in theory increase the actual price............
He says, knowing damn well that whatever logic exists in these times is meaningless :-)

Well, we have gone from a UK Close of $10.82 to currently $10.97, so hopefully that won't erode, and we have a $0.15 or 11p gain on opening, and hopefully the US will be on a turnaround day, noting several down days this week, so hopefully it will be a good day tomorrow.
Also, IAG's results tomorrow, which is "higher end" travel, so if their results are good, then that may also equate to an additional gain for us...........maybe......sort of.......I hope.!
