The Spike up at 1.30pm today was because the US CPI Inflation report showed that inflation has gone up.!

From 2.9 to 3%...... Under normal circumstances that would mean that the Fed would hold the rates, but as the US Jobs and Economy has stagnated the theory is that this will now force the Fed into another rate cut, hence the jump.

I love it when Economics is turned on it's head........

So there's a good chance we will jump up, and then drop heavily noting that in theory higher Inflation is bad..... but in todays world.... who knows.!

I just googled what the Wizz Air P/E is.......

and I have answers from multiple sites ranging from 5.6 to 13.19......!!!!!

But the formula's are correct, so I would go with the below of 6.31

However, you can also use your method.

MCap is 1.35bn Euro's / 213.9m = P/E of 6.31

EPS is Net Income / Number of Shares

$26.575 >> $26.64 >> 6.5c gain >> 5p gain like for like after our close.

All driven by Oil concerns, which is why BP has gone up over 8% within the last few days.

The answer to the question stagnation vs investment is easy.

If in 3 years Wizz is double the SP today, that is a yearly average of 26% return.

If in 3 years Wizz is treble the SP today, that is a yearly average return of 44.5% return.

Everyone said IAG would go bankrupt and it was 90p in 2021. >> Over 300% return in 4 years.

Everyone said Carnival would go bankrupt, and it was £5.50 in 2022. >> Nearly a 300% return in 3 years.

Everyone said Rolls Royce was on it's knees, and it was 60p in 2021. >> Approx. a 1,900% return in 4 years.

Wait for Wizz to climb to £20, and then invest and make 50% between £20 and £30.

Invest today, and wait, and make 200%.

Yep. Still £25 for 2025..... I only hold 4,000 shares now though, as I dumped a lot into Wizz, holding 60,000 shares there instead..... which I'm now calling Carnival 2.0 as it's just as frustrating as Carnival was two years ago.!

£25 for 2025, £30 for 2026, £40 for 2027. Of course, assuming no wars, covids, or tariff wars.......End 2027 for dividends is my guess as well.

Keeping the price at exactly this level must take a lot of effort for the MM's and shorters........

Unfortunately all the US Indexes are having a strong green day, where as cruise lines aren't...!!

Hopefully we will gain some momentum back into US close in the next 3 hours, as currently we are $26.04

i have to say i bow to the likes of b777, yeslam, lucas, hence why i've never posted on wizz.

but this is definitely another carnival with the mms. if this isn't the bottom, it's got to be close (well, i ****g hope so.!)

and i do believe, exactly like b777 has said several times that this is a £30/£40 share in 2/3 years, but boy it's painful.

I seem to be suffering from the same advert issue as 777.

Absolutely incredible how these MM's completely manipulate the SP

I've owned Carnival and IAG since covid, and Wizz only for the last 12 months and should be use to this type of manipulation but boy, it's frustrating.!

Noting that when every single plane was grounded and nobody knew when anyone would fly again this was £21, and when Russia looked like they were going to invade Europe and planes were stuck in the wrong places this was £14...

and now, despite profitable flights, restructuring of loss making routes, a structured plane already underway to reduce the remaining grounded planes, with new deliveries happening, with passenger numbers going up......... they still manage to tank the SP.

That's what I mean by "Incredible"...

Just my frustrating post coming out. :-)
