Hopefully, the fact the other bidder hasn't ruled themselves out already, bodes well, but perhaps I am being optimistic? That said, if two separate buyers consider value at 125p/share (which feels lowball), I'm surprised the price hasn't held closer to this while there is still a good prospect of a takeover being completed. I'd imagine with Kestrel's skin in the game it would be easy to rule out any sort of fishing expedition / speculative bid. Anyone thinking of loading up at these levels with the hope of a quick 20% gain?

Talk about dramatic. All that has changed is a bidder has dropped out, probably because they couldn't satisfy Kestrel's requirements. Unless the other bidder pulls out, still all to play for. Trading update in Jan will hopefully bring some calm to nerves about the Shinez acquisition and general trading. Until then, all is speculation. Sit tight and see how it plays out. Should be back to 125-150p range in 2025 with a half decent trading record.

Definitely some manipulation today. Trying to suppress the price. Wouldn't surprise me to see Kestrel increasing holding with an RNS tomorrow

Expecting a 7am RNS Monday

This board is abound with conspiracy theorists and haters. It's like an echo chamber of negativity with no balance. The market valued ingenuity close to zero (despite the anecdotal valuation of 65p from Apollo - who didn't make an offer) and everyone is still up in arms about an enterprise value of £300m (plus lease adjustments). The corporate governance is questionable but this characterisation of MM as some sort of corporate Blofeld is getting a little bit tiresome. If you so believe in the long-term prospects for Ingenuity then take the illiquid shares and see what happens in a few years' time. The public market hasn't backed the group in its current form, and the shorters have run rife, so what was the alternative? Carry on with the vitriol for the foreseeable!? Time to move on me thinks.

If Alex Wright is buying then I would be very encouraged. His special sits fund is up about 50% in the past two ot three years.

Sure does, but very mooted share price reaction. Hopefully, lower project costs and contract risk could translate to more (cheaper) financing options.

Any view on the reason(s) for the continuing fall, other than the fact there has been no news? Given history of shares on AIM, always nervous there is insider selling because things aren't quite doing to plan. Not sure whether to load up at these levels or tread cautiously....

Can't get my head around the mass panic selling, or is there short selling? It's gone from £2 to 90p in 3 months, as though it was on a 30-50x PE multiple, when it's actually closer to 5. What am I missing?

EPS of c.30p and an 11x PE on a trailing basis vs sector average c15x. Would anticipate growth from here, so easy to see why recent broker notes indicate fair value at c450p - 500p a share. Seems they've turned the corner after a rubbish few years. Definitely a good recovery play in the current environment.

Essentially everything ST said in his latest article - benefits likely to feed through to FY23 numbers. Only 4x PE on forward guidance. Keep the faith.

Any sniff of profitability and with the warrants firmly in the rear view mirror, this thing could begin to climb. Be nice to see 10p this year.
