Gordon Stein, CFO of CleanTech Lithium, explains why CTL acquired the 23 Laguna Verde licenses. Watch the video here.
I seen on another site that someone said we're looking at a small extention. Hopefully they will update that information to Market either today/ tomorrow.
I let a few go in lot of 1000's just to get rid. Too many people selling and to tell you the truth didn't know where it would end. Limits changing though as at one point I sold 3,000 in one go. Just depends when you catch it. G.L.
You are correct, can't buy online but can sell atm.
Really feel for a lot of people who just got stung in WET. It's one thing to see a share in your portfolio drop 40% but a lot of people just bought in over the last couple of days and that must be hard. There but for the grace of God I traded it yesterday and was just watching today. It was too difficult to get out yesterday and that told me something. It will probably come good eventually but not before fund raising. I hope none of you guys got caught.
Evening moosh, I hope all is well with you. I am invested in VAL, a recent investment at an sp not too far away from todays. A decent read being April 2011 presentation. http://www.proactiveinvestors.co.uk/genera/files/sponsor_files/valirx_plcapril11.pptx With an investors presentation on 18th May. http://www.proactiveinvestors.co.uk/register/event_details/110 I would think that pro active will have a follow up on this. Moosh, given your old profession do you have any comments on VAL as an investment at current prices?
Yes, a great way to raise funds. Thank you for passing on your comment, unfortunately I don't hold a large number but I am very happy with the news. I am pleased that you bought more on that basis and I trust you will make a handsome return. I am most impressed in the fact that the ceo took time to contact a small P.I. and listen to her concerns. The information that he gave me (although vague) was spot on and I would put trust in him in running MBW, he certainly seems a man of his word, quite rare in these markets. Good luck for today.
An interesting analysis. I certainly don't claim to know all the ins and outs of how such dealings can affect the market but what I know is that on opening tomorrow these shares are still in tight hands, there is not an influx of excess to flood the market. Even the preference shares if agreed will be in tight hands as they go to 'selected new investors'. Tomorrow should be good. :-)
Really pleased with todays news. Be interesting to see how the sp behaves tomorrow. G.L.
Yes, that's me. It's not meant to deceive, it's just when I signed up to ADVFN I didn't know at the time it was customary to keep your tag across sites. Just back in from 10 pin bowling, a pity the little rise that started couldn't be sustained. I'll just be waiting in the hope that positive newsflow comes, no guarantee but fingers crossed.
News will be coming very soon. A circular is in the hands of lawyers and results are due. Had a call from CEO today as I was struggling to contact them. He appreciates that things have been quiet but information will be forthcoming, I believe lots has been happening behind the scenes. Obviously I don't know if updates are positive as he only stated information will be coming. He stated that he was positive abot the new managing directors roll. I thought he sounded fairly upbeat but obviously that counts for nothing. Hope that helps a little.
Yes, this has been experiencing good rises lately. It was one of my very first purchases. I have them on certificate with an average of around 1.4p I think. I had great expectations back then, now I would be pleased to see 1.4p come back, treat myself to an ipad or something of more interest than a few certificates. LOL. I don't follow it closely, it's just on my monitor but I think they may be starting to get a foot in the american markets. Computer software for treating depression so quite a lucritive market, they were doing okay here with contracts but I think the goverment had made cuts to some of them.
Oh and just to give you a giggle... Being new to the site a few years ago. I seen a comment by GedW on CHL, the sp was around 28p and GedW said they had possible resource value of around £10. I thought, oh no, he must be one of those rampers. If only I knew then what I know now. ;-)
Hi, just seen your message. I've been in and out but have took a stable position for around 18 months. Started gradually but have added to my position. My average is around 100p so I am (for now) sitting comfortably. I expect a good upside (hence holding now around 50% of my portfolio here). As you know, nothing is guaranteed but Churchill seems to have a good team in their advisory board, in credit suisse and in their investors (Pala). On that basis coupled with resources and the want of them I am hoping that this is going to be one of my better investments. I should also say that having waited quite a while for it to come good I am happy to wait just as long as the end result is good.
Happy New Year to all. I hope 2011 will be a prosperous and happy year. Re. coal trend. After initial research I invested in this just a few days ago (16p). I did have some niggles but feel it is well undervalued. I am very bullish on coal and will happily look at those comapnies with assets that the market has not 'wakened up' to. Let's hope this one continues to grow through 2011.
The re-structuring has just began and I feel this will be a decent hold for those prepared to wait. http://www.londonstockexchange.com/exchange/news/market-news/market-news-detail.html?announcementId=10742658
I am very keen on RED as a recovery stock. See previous posts. Premium is very quiet and personally I have cut right back on trading to spend more quality time with the family (although I still do have my moments) so I shall be posting infrequently. I sent you a P.M. today, did you get it okay?
Thanks for that. Looks like it may be quite promising, hopefully I will get my 8.5p then. :-)
Osaki, do you have any thoughts on BMR? I sold completely when there was a sharp 10% drop, I was correct to sell as next day news came of a placing and it fell further. After thinking about it and seeing a quick recovery I went back in (short term, hoping early exit next week), the thing is I'm not entirely convinced that I should have. Lot's of crazy price prediction on news but starting to feel a lot of that news is now priced in along with dilution. I am hoping for around 8p to 8.5p. any views? P.S. Apologies for missing wishing you a happy birthday ;-) I hope you had a great time.
Premium does tend to be quiet but there are a lot of good uses to it like having some very good people on tap. The likes of GedW, Osaki, Moosh, Riddler et al that all have different skills. I find premium is a good place to contact them if I want a different perspective on a share. What shares are you in? If you run through some you might instigate some comments if others hold them. You also have private messaging which is a great tool if you want to ask a question or speak about something you don't want made public. I have had some wonderful messages of encouragement through P.M. G.L.
Great to see you have flagged this up. I had purchased this a couple of years ago around 11 or 12p and sold at 17p. This year I looked at it and my initial thought was 'Oh my God, what has happened'. I have already purchased around current levels, initially just a tiny amount as a possible risky recovery play. I have since doubled up as I am more confident of it's chances with the current changes and direction the new team is working. They now have debt down to a managable £5million and it looks like on the road to recovery.
