John, by the wa this stock is performing its going to take more than 5 years to get back to my buy in of 9.65
I am afraid my only hope is that someone comes along to take over this operation and get rid of the existing money grabbing muppets that are in control at the moment before their salaries ,expense and bonus eat up what little value there is.
As much as you wont like to hear this i now wish i had taken note of what quisass was saying
Still you win some and lose some
Very good news indeed BUT if the directors and management were more dynamic, innovative and progressive then a measly government handout should not be needed. i hope now that their is funding insight that they do not sit on their laurels once again. IMO nothing stratospheric will happen to this company until they get new young blood, Sure the company will grow but by reason of the overall market not this companies diligence. Compare it to other contemporaries in the US and Far East and they are just plodding along
Interesting article in Telegraph
Bullet points :
Since 1998 Aim stocks have returned on average 9% compared to the FTSE 172% for same period
some believe there are stupendous riches to be made others insist its the "wild west " plagued with frauds and cheats.
Mmmm
Everyone seems fixated on beating last years 50 kt sales
Thats ok if that figure was correct but what i dont understand is they only declared about half of that to the Brasilian government.
After the board take their exorbitant salaries, expenses and bonus i reckon we need at least 300 kt sales here for all of us mugs to benefit
Loki you have been a member for only 2 months
I suggest you review this shares performance over the last 2 years rather than making totally unsubstantiated claims about what is going to happen in the next few weeks
I think it is more likely that Trevor will be saying "I told you so"
Swingy, over a year ago you told everyone here that you had wiped out your pension funds when you sold these at a loss
Did you come into an inheritance?
Are you going to make the same mistake again or just take the HMI benefit for ramping
Tried the email / phone method myself without response.
Troubling because my question was asking for an explanation as to why the 2019 reported sales figures were approx double the official figures declared to the Brasilian government
I would much appreciate it if you could share any info you gleam that may effect IQE concerning China
Fortunately, unlike you, i had not yet invested in IQE but was about to dive in when i had considerable concerns when doing my due diligence.
I will sit on my funds until any impact becomes clear
Thanks Ntho...
Basic is a gross understatement
I find it baffling that i cannot find a detailed breakdown
Maybe i should ask a direct question.......What is the total revenue of sales originating in China ???
What percentage of total sales does that represent ???
I asked a very simple question ie
Can anyone tell me the geographical distribution of IQE's sales
I assume you are all familiar with whats going on politically at the moment which may have positive or negative repercussions on this company.
