Interesting article quisad but strangely the futures for the Real in the currency market show the opposite projection
Currency futures show the Real weakening to 6 against the US$........
i hope the article is correct. I watch this trend very closely as i repatriate funds on a regular basis
NO
comcas is my manager and unlike you actually works in the agriculture sector in Brasil
She has been in direct contact locally both verbally and by mail with the company and their agents Agracerrado.
Agracerrado have been very professional providing all info requested. In conjunction with our agronomist she decided that KPfertil was not for us.
its not clear what purpose you have on this chat board ....i still cant find anything you say relevant to the company
I think as we are based in Brasil ,in the agriculture business and utilising fertiliser we have a far better insight into the industry particularly and the complexities of doing business in Brasil in particular
Go contemplate your navel until you have something of import to say
I dont believe you can read
I have never said "the product is rubbish".....i only commented that my agronomist advised that there were better for value products available
That is why i am questioning HMI pricing when according to them they have an almost infinite supply at mind boggling margins
Why not cut the price dramatically in the short term, gain market share and if it does the job obtain repeat orders .
the price can be adjusted at a later date
Firstly i have never said the product is bad. I have said my agronomist did not consider it economically competitive against more concentrated products.
Secondly i stated many times that the share was overrated when it was above the 15p level but i did buy in and hold at 9.65
i believe the product does have a market in the right areas at the right price
The problem is the inability of the company to sell the product and in this reqard they seem bankrupt of ideas and if they dont move soon they will bankrupt the company
You seem to be very close to the BOD so perhaps you can obtain some answers for me on very basic questions .
Its been stated numerous times that there exists such an almost infinite mountain of product and that the margin is so big but sales have not reached expectations
Might it not make sense to dramatically cut the sales price and obtain market share in the short term
If the product lives up to your expectations and is proved in the field then one might be able to justify a price escalation in the longer term
Additionally ,and please bare in mind , i am a potential end user HMI should consider bagging in 50 KG sacks as i believe there exists a market for the numerous community organic growers who cannot handle tonnes and the associated wastage Incidentally this is a subject that was raised some time ago with one of the sales team who acknowledged that might be a good idea
i have some faith in the product and hold stock but unfortunately my faith in the directors and senior management is non existant
can anyone help me here
How does the exchange rate effect the bottom line of an Australian company with a Brasilian subsidiary quoted on the LSE
When i first looked at HMI about 2 years ago the share price was 16p and the exchange rate US$ to R$ was 3 as at today it is above 4
Is this good or bad ???
No Happy Carnival for me
Its impossible to do anything constructive during this period. Its just another excuse to do nothing and get wrecked one way or another
Having experienced it in the past i now leave the country until it is all over
I can assure you that the posts were written by the persons i stated
You will note that my Managers posts ( Comcas) ceased after she and my agronomists concluded that the KP fertil remineralizer was of no use for our application and we sourced an alternative
I .unfortunately ,have a continued interest as i ,with hind sight, foolishly bought share at 9.65
I would in fact like to believe some of the hype and buy more at the current level but with the real lack of concrete news and information i am keeping my powder dry at the moment
BOD please give us some REAL numbers to work with
I operate in Brasil so am fully aware of all the pitfalls and from what i can see HMI have fallen into most of the traps particularly with Geociclo
It is a known fact that ,usually with no mal intent, Brasilians will tell you exactly what you would like to hear which can be very misleading to the uninitiated.
I am reserving any further move until after i visit the site and also touch base with Agracerrado who initially were the only contact that gave us correct and prompt information
Posts under the name of Bopd were written by me
Posts under the name of Comcas were written by my farm manager whom i tasked to communicate with Agrocerado to establish if HMI remineraliser was suitable for our needs
if you review the posts at the time you will see why we are not buying this product
I explained in my mail to you that i am currently in Dubai and my return to Brasil is not confirmed at this moment
My agronomist is in Brasil and will possibly want to accompany but only if the timing suits
I sent you my passport copies and requested that you obtain provisional authorisation for me to visit
When i return i will visit the site as soon as i enter Brasil and before i go to my farm in Parana. I am checking which is the best entry point Sao Paulo or Rio for connection thru to Minais Gerais. If we have tentative approval i can advise you at least a week in advance of my dates. It is not necessary for my Brasilian agronomist to accompany me if this is a problem.
If you think it is preferable i will willingly arrange this direst with HMI......is so please advise who best to contact.
Might it be an idea for my people in Brasil to make contact locally ???
