The "New World Order" is basically the US and China - with everyone else playing, at best, secondary roles.
The Cape Horn sea route is tiny...if it expanded by a factor of 10 it would still hardly be a small artery of global trade (see attached for the minute amount of traffic that use it). You've quoted the recent ACCIDENT in the Suez...do you think tankers will go around Cape of Good Hope and/or Cape Horn to miss out the Suez/Panama? Not a chance. The US will let hell freeze over before allowing any country to stop traffic passing thru' the Panama.

problem with the above and your earlier post - your guessing and making a number of presumptions - hope you're right....but at this moment - the market disagrees with you.

Gulable: totally agree - he's a wnker. No problem with traders - just be honest....he wasn't. He was on here day in day out outlining the long-term, likely outcomes. I took it with a pinch of salt, i've only got a very small holding and feel sorry for anyone who has invested heavily. Don't ever make an investment decision on the back of stuff people posting online.

So you think at FID this will be 20p? I think it would be c.50p...so therefore the market is measuring chances of go ahead as 5/1 too. Been in since very early DES days, I'm invested til the end and pray to God it will happen. But 5/1 at moment for me too. (That can change...either way, very rapidly).

Surely a positive decision on claim and a reasonable amount awarded (c.£60m+ net) - momentum will push this close to c.20p. If so - all this nonsense of a TO for 30p will disappear?

Easily. However the 3 following things would have to happen;
1. SL get developed (odds against),
2. RKH still exist (unlikely as good chance of TO if 1 takes place) and
3. Oil still be required globally at c.$70bbl (very likely).
