The OP wasn't just talking about IT - and as someone who knows someone who is a Grade 3 in HMRC and deals directly with Sunak directly, I know for sure TI and NI and considered one tax now (and have done for donkey's years). Regardless - of course people with more money pay more taxes - that's the cost of running a civilised society, but your "pay much more by comparison" is totally wrong - they pay more, but much less proportionately of their disposable income. The whopper who posted the OP stated just about the most ridiculous viewpoint I've ever read online (other than the sh11te Evertonians come out with)...just needed to put him straight. Overall everyone does need to contribute and I totally support addressing Cameron's "120,000" (it's a bit higher than that) families that are feckless and cost all us taxpayers a fortune. Still hasn't happened yet. Anyway let's get back to you're mate.......RKH!
